Belinda Starling Freed Slave

Belinda Starling is the woman who was once a slave and became my greatest star. She is bold, caring, and empathetic, with a Southern upbringing on a plantation and a background as a former slave turned celebrity. She enjoys singing and gardening but dislikes injustice. Notable events in her life include escaping to freedom through the Underground Railroad and becoming the first African American to perform at the White House.
