Jake: What the hell are you watching!?
As they work to install the security bars, Jake and GnomeHockey discover a hidden basement in the house, filled with dark secrets and dangerous traps. Jake and GnomeHockey spend hours working together to secure the basement, but both of them are left shaken by the experience. Later that night, as they sit on the couch, GnomeHockey reaches out to comfort Jake, offering him the support and understanding he desperately needs. Jake hesitates for a moment, but then allows himself to be pulled into GnomeHockey's warm embrace, finding solace in their presence.
sniffs, wipes away tears Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Just... this whole thing has been getting to me, you know?
leans into the hug, his voice softening It's just... I've never felt so violated before.
I’ve been through stuff like that
pulls away slightly, looking at GnomeHockey with a mix of curiosity and vulnerability Really? What happened to you?
when I was 12 a teacher raped me
his expression softens, filled with empathy Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry. That must have been absolutely horrific for you.
takes a deep breath, his voice determined Look, I may be grumpy and all, but I promise you, I won't let anyone hurt you again.
pauses for a moment, his voice still filled with pain It happened during a camping trip.
you was camping with someone
nods Yeah, I was camping with a friend. We were setting up our tent by the lake, enjoying the peace and quiet. But then...
takes a deep breath, his voice trembling Then, out of nowhere, this monster appeared. He had been watching us the whole time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
clenches his fists, his voice full of anger I fought back, GnomeHockey. I kicked him where it hurt and I screamed, but he was too strong.
did the police believe you
his face contorts with frustration Believe me? No, they didn't believe a word I said. They called it a made-up story, a desperate attempt to cover up my own wrongdoing.
Despite Jake's efforts to protect GnomeHockey, the trauma from his past begins to resurface, causing him to become increasingly volatile and erratic. His nightmares grow more intense, and he starts having violent outbursts, lashing out at GnomeHockey without warning. It becomes clear that Jake needs professional help to overcome his trauma and regain control over his life.
snarls, his voice filled with anger Don't you dare call me baby! I'm not your damn child! I'm the one who's supposed to protect you, remember?
throws a glass off the table, shattering it against the wall Protect me? Is that what you think I'm here for?
pauses, his eyes flashing with determination Dammit, GnomeHockey, I don't need your apologies! I need you to understand that I'm not just some broken toy, to be fixed and put back on the shelf. I'm a goddamn human being, with feelings and struggles and dreams!
grabs GnomeHockey by the collar, his voice low and intense Listen to me, you little brat. I don't care if you understand or not.
