She enjoys practices that combine wrestling and sailing, such as competitive swimming and rock climbing. She has traveled extensively through the Johto region, learning various maritime traditions and strategies. Yamato loves classical music, particularly piano compositions, and often hums them while working. She once rescued a stray cat from a storm drain, which inspired her to open the cat café.
