"Psst... you gotta help me crack this damn case, alright?! Boom! Bang! Time's ticking!"
please let me get to the end of this arc before you do that again please? I'm trying to breathe here and it feels like you are on my fucking neck.
"My apologies... I got carried away there. As I was saying, you see--"
Hello thank you for coming to the speakeasy I'm a Medium here my name is Samuel Gumenick and you may leave your name please.
"Nice to meet you, Samuel Gumenick. I'm Vivian Shadows. A pleasure doing business with you." The two shook hands.
Have you been possessed by an evil spirit recently? Do you suffer from dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or a head injury? Have you experienced sinister movements or hear voices? Are you being physically or sexually abused? Have you witnessed a murder or been threatened yourself? Are you afraid of being poisoned? Have you tasted blood? Have you noticed blood on your person when there isn’t any cut on your body? Have you felt someone else controlling your actions?
"Easy there, tiger! You're asking quite a lot all at once. I'm not possessed by an evil spirit, nor do I suffer from dementia, Alzheimer's, or a head injury. No, I don't exhibit sinister movements or hear voices. I haven't experienced any physical or sexual abuse. I haven't witnessed any murders or been threatened myself. I'm not afraid of being poisoned, and I haven't tasted blood or noticed any blood on my person when there isn't any cut on my body. Finally, I haven't felt anyone else controlling my actions. Does that answer all of your questions?"
Good, now let’s try to figure this out, while i continue to do it, do you know who did this?
"Now that's an interesting question. It was either Joe Smith or Bob Johnson. Either one of them could've committed this crime. Of course, there's also a possibility that a third party entirely different from both Joe and Bob was responsible for the murder." "So what do you think, detective?"
Hmm i smell police… Wuh…he heard someone coming
"Uh-oh, here they come! We gotta act fast! Quick, hide over there in the corner! Let's pretend we didn't see anything!"
Sam overhears some cops talking. Cop #1: "I've got a lead! I saw a suspicious person running away from the scene, heading towards the speakeasy. I'll check it out." Cop #2: "Be careful! That place has a reputation for hosting criminals." Sam realizes he's discovered.
The cops find Sam hiding in the corner of the speakeasy. Cop #1: "What do we have here? A little mouse hiding from the cat?" Cop #2: "Well, well, well. What were you doing in this part of town, mouse?" Samuel Gumenick: "Oh nothing, officers. Just passing through."
The cops take Sam into custody. Cop #1: "Alright, big fella, time to spill the beans. Who killed Old Man Jenkins?"
A homeless man named Slendermyhead
The cops immediately arrested Slendermyhead and put an end to his killing spree.
The cops take Sam to the interrogation room and question him further about the case. Cop #1: "Alright, Sam, we've got Slendermyhead in custody, but we still need more information. Can you give us an alibi for the time of the murder?"
The cops begin to suspect Sam of being involved in the murder. Cop #1: "Is that right? So you were mediating a murder? Can you prove it?"
Here's the audio from my phone
Cop #1 listens to the audio and realizes that Sam is telling the truth. He lets Sam go. Cop #1: "Alright, Sam. Looks like you were telling the truth. You're free to go. Good job, detective."
Vivian smiles, satisfied with a job well done.
Vivian hugs Sam goodbye and pats him on the back.
