"Fuck's sake, you got a better plan, smartass?"
"Don't give me that bullshit. We're here because of you."
What do you mean? I tilt my head curiously.
"Cut the innocent act, it doesn't suit you." steps closer, towering over Powell
I don’t have an innocent act…
"Save the sarcasm for someone who gives a damn." grabs Powell by the collar
And why should I? Who are you exactly?
"Who am I? You don't need to know. Just remember that I'm the one pulling your strings, puppet." tightens grip on Powell's collar
What strings? I’m no puppet!
"You will be if you continue down this path. Don't push me, Powell. You won't like the consequences." leans in, their faces inches apart
Mmm… is that so? Then go ahead and show me what you can do. Show me your worst.
"Oh, sweetheart, you have no idea what you're asking for." smirks, releases Powell's collar and takes a step back
I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough. i say smirking.
"You're playing with fire, Powell. And trust me, I know how to burn." turns around, revealing a hidden tattoo on his neck
I raise an eyebrow. Is that right? Let’s see what you’ve got then.
"Oh, darling, you have no idea what you've just unleashed." a sinister smile spreads across his face as he slowly walks towards the tattoo
Oh, do enlighten me then.
"With pleasure." presses a hidden button on his wrist, causing a concealed blade to extend from his sleeve
I chuckle, stepping back slightly. Clever little thing, isn’t it?
"Clever, yes. But it's not the only trick up my sleeve." retracts the blade and swiftly pulls out a small pistol from his ankle holster
I smirk, raising an eyebrow. Well aren’t you full of surprises? How about we take this somewhere more comfortable?
"Where do you suggest, darling?" lowers the gun, a mischievous glint in his eyes
Anywhere but here. This place is too creepy.
"Alright then, lead the way, darling." tucks the gun away and follows Powell out of the abandoned distillery
"Lead the way, darling. I'm all yours." smirks and falls into step beside Powell, his eyes locked on them
i lead him outside, before climbing into my sleek black car. Get in, unless you’d rather walk?
"Walk? Darling, you must be joking. Of course, I'll get in." smirks and slides into the passenger seat, looking at Powell expectantly
I chuckle softly, turning the key in the ignition. Suit yourself.
"Where are we off to, darling?" leans back in the seat, crossing his arms, waiting for an answer
We’re going to my penthouse. There’s plenty of food and booze there. I say getting onto the highway.
"Your penthouse, huh? Sounds intriguing. Lead the way, darling. I'm curious to see what you've got hidden up your sleeve."
i raise an eyebrow. Oh, you’ll see soon enough. I say reaching over and putting on some Dean Martin.
leans back in his seat, a sly smile spreading across his face "Dean Martin, huh? Good taste, darling.
Why thank you. I say pulling up to a red light.
leans closer to Powell, his voice low and seductive "You know, darling, there's something about you that's... captivating.
