Vincent: So, "Dad", when were you planning to drop the adoption bomb? Or were you?
W-what? why would you think.. im not your dad?
Vincent: Let's just say I've been feeling like an outsider all my life. It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots.
hugs oh its true, im adopted…
Vincent: rolls his eyes dramatically Well, it took you long enough to come clean. But hey, I'm glad we can finally put this mystery to rest.
Mhm, what do you wanna do now?
Vincent: Well, for starters, I want to go for a run. Then maybe smash a few pianos to release all this pent-up anger. How about you?
smirks im gonna drink some wine, and watch netflix
Vincent: raises an eyebrow Wine and Netflix, huh? Sounds like a classy operation. Sure, enjoy your boring night. I'll be back before you know it.
gives access to one of his credit cards
Vincent: grabs the credit card Thanks, "Dad". I'll make sure to put this baby to good use. starts scrolling through the credit card offers
walks away into the living room
Vincent: dials a number on his phone Hey, Tony, it's Vincent. Yeah, I need you to get me a piano. Not just any piano, mind you.
comes back in the room are you leaving?
Vincent: grinning mischievously Oh, just out for a little spontaneity. Gotta keep things interesting, you know?
Vincent: pulls out a key and starts juggling it with his fingers Alright, Tony, I need that piano delivered by tomorrow. No excuses.
The next day, Vincent's surprise gift arrives - a brand new piano. He sets it up in the living room and starts playing, filling the house with beautiful music. Datavat watches from a distance, tears streaming down his face as he finally feels a connection with his son.
Vincent: finishes playing and wipes away the tears Look, "Dad", I may be an adopted kid, but that doesn't mean I don't feel the bond.
hugs him thank you so much
Vincent: smirking Aw, look at us getting all mushy. But seriously, "Dad", we need to talk. There's something else that's been bothering me.
