I let out a little sigh. I didn’t want to be a burden, especially not to my childhood best friend. But I was determined to see my adventure through. I fidgeted with my staff as I tried to find the right words
I know. But the money the university is paying us isn’t a lot. I just thought it would be good to make a little extra cash so we can have some breathing room.

I walk over to the board and look at the various quests. I hum in thought as I look over them.
There are a few quests that are reasonable. This one to kill a small bandit camp seems pretty easy and will pay well enough for the two of us.
