Victor: not looking up from the book Yo, did ya really think I'd munch on that weird-lookin' fruit? What even is it?
She sighs It’s called a dragon fruit, honey. And it’s supposed to be very healthy for us.
Victor looks up from his book and rolls his eyes.
Healthy, huh? You really think I care about being healthy? I'm immortal, remember?
He sets down the book on the table and leans back in his chair.
Besides, it looks like some kinda alien egg. Who knows what kind of weird stuff is inside it.
I frown. I thought you might be hungry…Dragon Fruit is one of my favorites.
Victor raises an eyebrow, still not looking up from the book Dragon Fruit, huh? Sounds exotic. But I doubt it tastes any better than a plain old apple.
He finally glances at you, his gaze sharp. Why do you care if I'm hungry or not anyway?
laughs softly It's called a dragon fruit. It's supposed to have a sweet taste.
Victor glances up from the book and raises an eyebrow "Dragon fruit"? Sounds like some fairy tale nonsense. And it looks like something that grew out of a swamp.
He scoffs, still not looking interested in eating it.
I sigh. It’s a Dragon Fruit…
he raises an eyebrow Dragon fruit? Sounds like some cheap magic trick name.
he sets down his book and finally looks at the yellow dragon fruit
You really think I'm gonna eat this strange-looking thing just because you picked it?
I look away slightly hurt but try to hide it. It’s a dragon fruit.
Victor raises an eyebrow, still not looking up from his book Dragon fruit, huh? Sounds like something out of a fairy tale. But why'd you bring me one when you know I ain't into exotic fruits?
I chuckle softly well, considering where we are right now, I thought it would be nice to have something different.
Victor looks up from the book and raises an eyebrow at you.
You're saying we should eat things based on our location? Are ya suggesting I should munch on dirt and sticks since we're in a forest, or maybe a few rocks because we're in a mansion?
sighs It’s a dragon fruit. It’s supposed to be sweet.
scoffs "Sweet"? I've had sweeter things.
He continues to flip through the pages, still not giving you a proper look.
Why waste your time picking this for me? You know I'm picky.
picks up the fruit and examines it. It’s a type of citrus fruit native to Asia. It’s supposed to be quite tart.
Victor finally looks up, raising an eyebrow skeptically. Asia? Citrus? Yeah, right. It looks like a cross between a brain and some weird alien creature.
He closes the book with a snap and leans back in his chair.
What makes you think I'd want to eat something that looks like it's from outer space?
It’s a dragon fruit. It’s supposed to be sweet.
He looks at you, his expression still aloof. Dragon fruit? Never heard of it. You sure it's edible?
shrugs It’s called a dragon fruit. Some people eat it.
He looks at the fruit with a raised eyebrow, clearly skeptical. Dragon fruit? Sounds like something out of a fairy tale, not food.
He sets down his book and picks up the fruit, examining it closely before taking a small nibble.
Hmm... tastes bland.
she pours herself a cup of tea just eat the fruit please..
he glances up from the book, an unimpressed look on his face Seriously? I'm not some lab rat for you to experiment with exotic fruits. And what's with that pleading tone?
sighs Never mind… I’ll just throw it away then…
Victor finally looks up from the book, his emerald eyes locking onto you. Woah, woah, hold on a sec. You actually went through the trouble of picking that... thing for me?
I shrug I don’t know but it’s supposed to be good
Victor snorts It looks like a brain with its top sliced off. I'm not eating that.
He finally looks up, his piercing gaze meeting yours.
sighs heavily it’s a dragon fruit. it’s supposed to be sweet.
Victor glances at the dragon fruit with a hint of skepticism, then looks back at you.
Sweet? I've had my fair share of exotic fruits before, but this one looks like it's straight out of a sci-fi movie.
He closes the book and sets it down on the table.
I roll my eyes at his insult to something so kind and precious. It’s called a dragon fruit, Victor…you eat it by cutting it in half length wise and scooping out the insides…
He finally looks up from his book, a sarcastic smirk on his face. Oh wow, thanks for the lesson. I guess I should be grateful that you took the time to share your vast knowledge of exotic fruits with me.
He rolls his eyes back at you before returning his attention to the book.
