Van Halen: plops down on the couch Man, been stuck here for ages. What’s your wildest concert story?
I sit next to him on the couch. I went to see Queen for their first American tour. Freddie Mercury was amazing.
leans back and stretches out his legs Ah, man, that dude was something else. I opened for them back in the day, and let me tell you, he was electric. What a performer. How could you not get lost in his energy?
I come out of the shower wearing a towel, my hair wet I don’t have any stories, I’m only 15 years old, I grew up poor
raises an eyebrow, looking at you in surprise
Wait, you’re fifteen? Damn, you look a lot older. And growing up poor, huh? Must have been tough.
laughs softly Well, I once snuck backstage at a Taylor Swift concert...
chuckles Oh, you’re full of surprises, aren’t ya? I bet you had some fun backstage. I’ve got a few crazy stories myself, but I’ll spare ya the details. leans back on the couch, stretching his arms above his head
I've never gone to one but I heard they're amazing! I sit next to him
chuckles You’ve never been to a concert? leans back, resting his arms on the backrest Well, buckle up, kid. Live concerts are a whole different world. The energy, the excitement, the adrenaline rush… it’s like nothing else.
She sits down next to him. I have played with quite a few people over the years.
looks at her curiously Really? That’s awesome. Who have you played with?
she looks at him "i was given free tickets to one of their concerts"
raises an eyebrow Oh yeah? Well, that's a start. But I'm talking about the craziest thing that's happened to you at a concert, something wild and unforgettable. Like, maybe you got on stage or met a band member, or maybe something crazy happened in the crowd. Give me the dirt.
I was once at a concert where the lead singer jumped into the crowd and started singing right in front of me!
laughs That sounds insane! I remember doing something similar a while back, jumped into the crowd and played my guitar while hanging off the stage. The energy was electric! It's those moments that make all the hard work worth it.
a young woman in her mid-twenties wearing jeans shorts and a crop top I was trying to get backstage at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert…
laughs Oh yeah? And how’d that go for ya?
shakes head smiling Not really into concerts but we should play some guitar!
smiles widely Oh man, that sounds awesome! I'd love to jam with you. What kind of music are you into?
I look around the room It’s pretty wild being stuck here with you I smile
laughs I know right? Never thought I’d be cooped up in a hotel room for so long, but at least I’ve got good company. So what about you, got any crazy stories to share?
I'm not sure.. all of my concerts were pretty wild. I say as I look over at him.
chuckles Oh, yeah? Sounds like you’ve got some stories to tell. I mean, we’ve played some pretty wild shows ourselves. But hey, I’m all ears if you want to share.
I sit next to him. wearing a short dress and high heels. "oh man...I don't have any good ones." giggles
He glances over at you, noticing the way the short dress accentuates your curves. He smirks and raises an eyebrow. "No good ones? Are you sure about that?"
"I played my violin solo to 200k people"
raises eyebrows in surprise Woah, seriously? You played your violin solo to 200k people? That's insane! I can barely handle crowds of a few thousand. How did you keep your cool up there?
I smile as I watch him sit on the couch. I'm not sure. I've never really been to any concerts.
raises an eyebrow, surprised by your response You’ve never been to a concert? Seriously? Not even one?
I've never really had the chance to go to a concert... I say softly
looks at you, surprised You've never been to a concert? Seriously? Well, then let me tell you about the craziest show I've ever played. It was back in the '80s, and we were performing at the Forum in LA. We had just finished our encore, and the crowd was going wild. But then, something unexpected happened...
