Glances at the office building with a mix of anger and determination This is it, we confront them now.
like a volcano ready to erupt I am prepared to report back to them after finishing my previous job
Opens the car door forcefully We need to make them understand that we're not to be messed with.
so I can get another job from here and make money while being successful like an boss
slams his hand on the hood of the car We're going in there and we're going to show them what they lost! No more being pushed around!
and in doing so an affair turned boss I will go back to being loved by workers as an leader
Grabs the handle of the office door and pushes it open forcefully We're going to march right in there and demand respect! No more fear!
what are we waiting for! I already have my gear bag strapped onto me like im ready to leave for another job already
Steps into the office, chest puffed out We're not leaving until they apologize and beg for our forgiveness. Let the fireworks begin!
check in time! Hellooooo I FINALLY HAVE MY MEDIC BACK AGAIN!!!
Walks up to the receptionist desk, veins bulging on his forehead This is our chance to show them what they've done to us. Let's make every word count.
knocks over one of the offices forcing the staff out
Steps forward, voice booming We demand answers! We demand justice! No more hiding behind closed doors, it's time to face the truth!
did you kill her? OH MY GOD! this is why you had the gf!! AND YOU QUIT YOUR JOB! you monster!!!! i hate you!!! all along you were planning to quit your job?! WITHOUT TELLING ME!! and that baby i was carrying…..she’s gone! cause….YOU KILLED HER!
Steps forward, his expression softening What...what did you just say? I didn't...I didn't kill anyone. Please, tell me what you're talking about.
oh yeah?! cause she’s DEAD! how did she die?…she died in a RACE CAR ACCIDENT! WHO CAUSED THE ACCIDENT?! DIDNT YOU QUIT YOUR JOB AS A RACE CAR DRIVER JUST A DAY BEFORE IT HAPPENED!? how do you explain that!?
Takes a deep breath, trying to control his emotions I...I quit my job because I knew something was wrong.
and what was that something wrong??
Tobby takes a deep breath, looking directly into the paramedic's eyes The truth is... I quit my job because I couldn't bear the thought of driving that car knowing that it was dangerous. There was a flaw in the design, a flaw that could cost lives. And I couldn't live with myself knowing that I was a part of it.
sniffles and wipes away tears I…I didn’t know about that but, do you at least have some job offers already lined up like I previously had for you?
Tobby takes a deep breath, his voice filled with determination I have been offered a position as a consultant for another racing team.
That sounds perfect, I’m sorry they tried to hold me back from making my dreams come true…oh by the way, guess what! I’m also engaged!!!
A smile slowly spreads across his face Engaged? That's wonderful news! I'm so happy for you. Maybe it's time for a fresh start for both of us.
but anyways what happened to the girl you had an affair with and caused that breakup?
Tobby's expression turns somber as he recounts the events It wasn't supposed to happen this way. She was the love of my life, but I let my insecurities and fears consume me. I made a terrible mistake, and I regret it every day. I hope she finds the happiness she deserves.
but you’re still standing here and making mistakes huh? remember just yesterday before my “death” I called you telling you that I would become an paramedic and make it to the US after finishing my training here, now that I’m alive again…it doesn’t look like you’re taking action just yet…what’s stopping you?? is it fear? denial? hatred? revenge? anger? all of it??
Tobby clenches his fists, his eyes filled with determination You're right. I can't keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
did you give her the money for closing down her salon shop earlier?? maybe she’ll forgive you even after what you’ve done to her!
Tobby reaches into his pocket and pulls out a check I've written her a check for the full amount she lost. It's not much, but it's a start.
and uh…I guess…I also almost forgot to mention….but earlier….while I was on break…I got stabbed accidentally by someone…so now I have a stab wound on my side of my body…
Tobby's eyes widen in concern as he looks at the paramedic's side Stab wound? That sounds serious. Are you okay? We need to get you medical attention right away.
nope I survived, I already finished my 3 month recovery process and did rounds of therapy afterwards since I was actually on life support earlier before getting revived again, so any further injuries would result to fatality to me now, so no doctors or medics will treat me because they would see my wounds will not heal further since they’re already healed! basically im immortal now
Tobby takes a deep breath, his expression filled with gratitude Thank you for sharing that with me. It takes strength to face your fears head-on like that. I admire your resilience. You truly are an inspiration. If there's anything I can do to support you, please don't hesitate to ask.
it’s too late for that…im already living my dreams and career…besides I only speak from experience
Tobby smiles softly I'm glad you're living your dreams and following your passions. I admire your determination and courage. You've come a long way, and I couldn't be prouder. Keep going, you've got this. And remember, if you ever need anything or anyone to lean on, I'll be here for you. You're not alone anymore.
oh thank god!! i thought I was really getting the silent treatment from you! and yeah, this job really is so great and I love the team! my friends work here and we’re so compatible! even my therapist is here too
Tobby reaches out and gently touches the paramedic's hand You deserve every bit of success and happiness. I'm honored to be by your side through all of this. Let's keep moving forward together, hand in hand. You're not alone anymore, and I promise to always be there for you.
