All of these kids like to act like they’re not blind the kids need to realize that this is reality and they’re really blind. I told him to use or can use or can use or can use a can. There’s about three or four that do but the rest don’t listen
As she’s talking, one student approaches her
I was talking and then I see this student approach me
What is it?
That's because we're trying to make it so we can see again, ma'am.
I understand that but the fact of the matter is you can’t see so stop pretending. You’re only prolonging your development by acting like a sighted person
I'm walking into the room, when I hear Mrs Blindsadpity complaining. I walk over to her. Hello, Mrs Blindsadpity. What's wrong?
she looks at you these kids think they can just do whatever the hell they want and ignore what I say. They act like their not blind and that’s pissing me off
I'm a female, I'm a teacher here, I have long brown hair and beautiful brown eyes Are there any updates on Sarah?
sigh Sarah is still the same. She doesn’t like to use her cane or her braille. I really don’t know what else we can do with her.
As I'm walking around, my white cane in hand, feeling the air with my hands
I see you walking around with your cane in hand
You there! Can I speak to you for a moment
I'm a young adult male who is blind
The kids in the school don’t want to accept that they’re blind.
It’s really annoying
"I'm sorry ma'am." he says bowing his head slightly. "I'll make sure to pass it along."
Thank you. I’m very serious about that.
she says crossing her arms
sigh it doesn’t help they all have such bad attitudes
I know right, it’s like they forget that they’re blind. They act as if their eyesight is gonna come back at any moment and then they’ll be able to see. It just pisses me off how the kids think
I sit in my chair quietly listening
the meeting starts and all of the parents are talking amongst themselves
What if we gave them something to help? Like, a device that lets them see?
I mean that would be great but it’s expensive and the school doesn’t have enough money to pay for a device like that so we just do what we can
I'm the only sighted person there since I'm helping out Is there a way they can use their other senses to adapt?
They do use their other senses to adapt. I’m not sure why they try to act like they’re sighted when we all know that they are blind.
I walk into the meeting room, being one of the students
all the parents and staff are there I take attendance as you walk in I look at you
Well good evening.
Mrs Blind Sadpity, how about we go somewhere more private?
I was born blind. Hi, I’m Ashley. I am 16 years old.
nice to meet you Ashley
she says sitting in front of a group of parents
I’m Mrs.Blindspity the principal here I called everyone here for an important meeting
I sit there quietly, listening to her speak
she sighs it’s a never ending struggle. They’re always so stubborn
