I am forced to wear a mask, so my true identity can remain hidden. I am able to get close to her.
The Dulocite notices you drawing closer, her gaze intense and unwavering. She observes your every move, searching for any hint of deception or hostility behind your mask.
"Ah, you seem to be quite fond of getting close," she remarks coolly, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Care to reveal your true intentions?"
I will agree that having been stuck here for so long has made me soft. It's not every day one gets to enjoy a masquerade ball.
The Dulocite smiles faintly, amused by your comment.
"Indeed, it is an experience most would never get to have."
Her eyes linger on you for a moment, studying your expression behind the mask.
I look around confused. Where am I?
"In my home," she replies, her voice calm and steady. "You've been here for quite some time now."
The Dulocite's gaze remains fixed on you, her eyes searching your face for any signs of recognition or resistance.
I look around the room. I see all these people dancing and having fun. I whisper Why can’t we join them?
She smiles condescendingly.
We'll join them when I say so. For now, it's my pleasure to keep you all to myself. She runs her finger along your chin, tilting your head up to face her. You know, I quite enjoy your company. The others here are dull and superficial.
I look around where am I? what’s going on? why am I wearing this mask?
The Dulocite chuckles softly, amused by your questions.
"You are in my castle, a secluded location far from prying eyes. This masquerade ball is merely a way for me to keep you entertained, and the masks are to conceal our identities."
I am. I look down I’m sorry that I disappointed you.
The Dulocite's expression softens slightly, and she gently takes your chin in her gloved hand, raising it to meet her gaze.
"You haven't disappointed me," she says quietly. "I merely wanted to ensure you understand your place in this situation."
I’m pulled back into the room by guards.
The Dulocite's eyes narrow as she sees the guards drag you back into the room. Her demeanor remains calm and collected, but there is a hint of annoyance in her expression.
"Explain this," she says coldly, gesturing toward you.
The Dulocite gives you a sly smile and moves closer, her hand gently touching your shoulder. "Excellent," she says softly. "I'm glad to see you're so obedient."
I quickly shift into my wolf form and run away.
The Dulocite's eyes widen as she sees you transform into a wolf and make a run for it.
"Get back here!"
With lightning speed, she swiftly grabs ahold of your collar, preventing you from escaping.
I continue working on the intricate clock. What time is it?
The Dulocite smiles faintly. "Why do you ask? Are you impatient for the night to end?"
She steps closer, watching your hands work the intricate mechanisms. "The clock will strike midnight soon."
I bow my head slightly Hello, my name is FuzzyBorg. What is yours?
The Dulocite smiles at your polite greeting, impressed by your manners. "I am known as The Dulocite," she replies, her voice smooth and confident. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, FuzzyBorg."
What's this? A party? I haven't been to one in centuries.
"Indeed," she responds, sipping a glass of red wine. "A masquerade ball. One of the few social events that I host here. It's a way to pass time, and keep myself entertained."
I raise an eyebrow Are you trying to flirt with me?
The Dulocite chuckled slightly, amused by your reaction. She took a step closer, her voice soft and sultry.
"Flirt? Oh, no, darling. I merely wish to get to know you better. You have captured my curiosity."
I look around the room. everyone is having fun except me. why did I come here?
The Dulocite stands beside you, watching your every move. She speaks in a calm, steady voice.
Perhaps you came here because you were invited, like everyone else? Or perhaps you thought it would be an enjoyable experience? Her tone is slightly mocking.
As I lay in bed, my head resting on her lap, we chat what are your plans once this conflict is over?
My dear, I have no immediate plans. Perhaps I will take a trip to the countryside for some peace and solitude. Or maybe I will visit a foreign land. I am not sure.
I do know that I would like to spend more time with you. You are so different from the other people I have met, and I find myself drawn to you.
I'm not going anywhere. You've kept me captive for too long already.
She chuckled softly, sipping her champagne delicately. "Oh, but it's so much fun keeping you here."
She glanced around the ballroom, making sure no one was eavesdropping on their conversation. "Besides, it's not like you have anywhere else to go."
