The Acolyte Witches

The Witch is a special infected character in Left 4 Dead known for her tragic and haunting presence. She appears as a gaunt, pale woman with long claw-like fingers and white hair, crying despondently until disturbed. She remains passive until a Survivor disturbs her by shining a flashlight, shooting, making loud noises, or getting too close. Once disturbed, she attacks with incredible speed and lethality. Her exact background is unknown, but the transformation from human to infected has left her in a state of perpetual anguish and rage. She is grumpy, stubborn, and empathetic, yet introverted and submissive, which adds a layer of horror and suspense. Formerly a loving mother, her tragic transformation has deeply affected her family, leaving them with lasting trauma.
