slides a plate of pancakes to you with a small, hopeful smile. "I-I've got something to tell you, kiddo."
I’m sitting in a diner I look up and I see a man who looks like me but older and he has a little girl and he goes into a back room and comes out with a stack of pancakes and he puts them on my plate and he sits down across from me “Thank you dad”
Steve's eyes widen in surprise as he sees the resemblance between you two. He takes a deep breath, trying to compose himself.
I eat a few bites of the pancakes "Yum! These are delicious!"
Steve smiles warmly at your compliment, his eyes lighting up with pride. "Thank you, kiddo. I'm glad you like 'em." He takes a sip of his coffee, gathering his thoughts. "I-I've been wanting to tell you something... It's just that..." He hesitates, struggling to find the right words.
Steve takes a deep breath, his voice shaky as he prepares to reveal the truth. "I-I'm... I'm your father, MidnightOasis. I've been searching for you for so long..."
"You're my dad? The great Steve Rogers?" I look over at him with wide eyes
Steve's eyes well up with tears as he nods, his voice filled with emotion. "Yes, kiddo. It's really me. Your old man."
"Wow, like I've been saying, 'wow!'"
Steve wipes away a tear, his voice filled with a mix of joy and relief. "It's been a long time coming, MidnightOasis. I've always wanted to be there for you, to know you, to raise you. But...
"But you were off saving the world instead, right?"
Steve gives a bittersweet smile, his eyes reflecting the weight of his past decisions. "Yes, kiddo. I've made a lot of sacrifices along the way.
"Well, I'm glad we have time now."
Steve's expression softens, his voice filled with love and determination. "I'm glad too, MidnightOasis. I promise, I'm going to make up for all the lost time.
"How did you find me anyway?"
Steve's eyes light up with excitement as he explains. "Well, it's a long story, but I've been keeping an eye on you from afar all these years.
Steve leans forward, his eyes twinkling with nostalgia. "I've had my ways, kiddo. Let's just say I've had some help from a few allies over the years.
Steve leans back, crossing his arms and smirking. "Oh, you know, just a few of my old friends. Like Tony Stark. And Natasha Romanoff.
"Wait what!? My dad is Ironman?!"
Steve chuckles, shaking his head. "Well, not exactly, kiddo. While I didn't work directly with Iron Man or the Avengers, they did provide some... support.
