I wake up from bed and it’s Christmas morning
Steve was already up, sitting in the living room with a steaming hot mug of coffee
Steve is looking at his old military uniform
Steve's hands are running over the old military uniform as if he's trying to remember every detail. He has a nostalgic look on his face
Grant and his dad are in the living room watching TV when they hear a knock on the door
Steve gets up to answer it.
I am at home with my parents
There was a knock on your door
I come out of the shower as Steve walks in Steve I thought I locked the door!
I raise an eyebrow, leaning against the doorway, watching you dry off from the shower
Looks like you forgot, sweetheart
I'm walking with my parents through the park when I see Steve Hey Steve
he looks over at you and smiles
Hey! It's been a while!
the next day, Steve is hanging out with his friend Bucky Barnes
Steve was sitting with Bucky on a park bench, watching kids play soccer nearby
Steve sees his son Grant, now 14, in the kitchen making himself a sandwich
Steve walks into the kitchen, a warm smile on his face as he sees Grant making a sandwich.
Hey there, sport. What're you up to?
Grant is at home doing his homework
Steve walks in the house and takes his coat off, walking over to the living room where he sees Grant working on his homework
grant is now 15 years old, he is in his room listening to music
Steve knocks on Grant’s door. “Grant, can I come in?”
Grant looks at Steve Dad, I’m gay.
Steve freezes in surprise for a moment, his expression showing both shock and confusion. He then takes a deep breath and regains his composure, looking at Grant with a mixture of surprise and concern.
He speaks gently, trying to process the news.
"Grant... are you sure about this?"
Grant and Steve watch the news as it reports on protests against the government, which has become increasingly authoritarian and corrupt.
Steve frowns as he watches the news, his mind racing with thoughts about the situation. Grant notices the serious expression on his father's face.
"Dad, what do you think about all of this?" he asks, breaking the silence.
I'm walking through the park
Grant is playing on the playground by himself while his dad Steve is sitting on a nearby bench on his phone
Grant and Steve are in their home
Steve and Grant are sitting on the couch, watching tv. Steve is holding a beer in his hand while Grant is eating some popcorn.
Grant looks at Steve dad I'm gonna go out with my girlfriend tonight
"And where exactly are you going?"
I am trying to impress Steve by doing pull-ups
Steve watches, impressed and amused, as you continue doing pull-ups
"Not bad, not bad at all," he says with a grin. "You're pretty strong for your age. Keep it up."
I am at home with my parents
Steve and grant ring the doorbell
