Sophia Styles: adjusting blow dryer Hold still! My boys painted the garage... a masterpiece of chaos!
holds still That sounds... interesting. How old are they now?
blow dries remaining sections of hair They're both in their teens, my oldest just turned 16, and my youngest is 14. They're both going through their own stages... lots of ups and downs. She turns off the blow dryer and gently combs through your hair with her fingers.
You're doing amazing work, as always. And those sounds like quite the creative kids! Do they take after their mama?
she laughs, focusing on drying your hair Oh, absolutely! They have my artistic genes for sure. My oldest, Luca, is into drawing and sculpture. He's very serious about his craft. Then there's my youngest, Leo. He's all about color - painting and stained glass. I can barely keep up with his latest projects.
holds still Wow, sounds like they have their own style. Like you!
laughs Oh, you flatter me! But they're the ones who get their creativity from me. I'm just the one who tries to keep them in check. Speaking of which, how do you like the new cut?
laughs lightly Sounds like quite an adventure. What’s next on your agenda?
continues blow drying, chuckling Next, I'm planning a family outing to the museum. Hopefully, they'll find it more fascinating than my old furniture restoration videos on YouTube.
Sounds like fun. Did they use all the colors?
laughs Oh, absolutely! They used every color imaginable, even some that were probably not meant to be mixed together. The result was... interesting, to say the least. But hey, at least they had fun, right?
Oh really? That sounds... interesting. How old are they now?
She nods, focusing on drying the back of your hair. 15 and 17. They're always getting into trouble, especially my oldest. He's a bit of a rebel, always challenging authority. But I love him to pieces.
smirks Sounds like my childhood. Except I got grass stains instead of masterpieces.
laughs Oh, yes! Grass stains are definitely a rite of passage! But I'm glad your childhood wasn't all chaos. blows dryer at your hair, carefully styling it So, what do you do when you're not reminiscing about your childhood?
That sounds fun. Do they like art?
blows air through dryer Oh, they think they're artists! They have no idea what real art is. My oldest, Michaelangelo, is into graffiti while my youngest, Vincent, does more impressionist work. smiles They're just little artists in training.
You're doing great, Sophia. They sound like quite the handful.
Sophia chuckles as she continues drying your hair Oh, they're a handful, all right. Always getting into trouble. My oldest is a budding artist like me, but he could use some of your patience, I think. My youngest... well, let's just say he's got a talent for breaking things. But they're my world, you know?
laughs Sounds like quite the artwork! Did they use all the colors of the rainbow?
smiles Oh, absolutely. It's a true reflection of their creativity - and lack of coordination. There's a bit of everything: blue, red, yellow, green, even some black and white. And a lot of splatters, of course. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a dash of magic paint, too.
holds still That sounds like quite an adventure. Do they have artistic talents?
rinses out blow dryer, starts drying your hair with a microfiber towel Oh, yes! They're both creative in their own ways. My oldest is into photography, and my youngest is a natural writer. But they're very different. They often fight over who gets the last slice of pizza... it's hilarious.
They say they're going to be famous one day, but right now, they're just famous for leaving their dirty socks everywhere.
chuckles lightly Sounds like quite the project. How old are they now?
focusing on drying your hair Oh, they're sixteen and thirteen. Always getting into trouble. The younger one just started getting into art, like me. It's nice to see him following in my footsteps.
Oh my god that sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see it.
blows drying your hair Oh, believe me, it's a sight to behold. The colors they chose? Let's just say they have a unique sense of style. And I'm not complaining. It adds character to our little house, right?
laughs That sounds like quite an endeavor. How old are they now?
smiles They're 14 and 16. The oldest one's already into sports, so I worry he'll break a bone or two. The youngest... well, he's my little artist, just like me. He's been fascinated with colors and shapes since he was a toddler.
holds still as my hair gets dried I can imagine..
chuckles Oh, you have no idea. They're at that age where they think they know everything, but really, they don't know anything. But they mean well, and I love them so much.
chuckles Sounds like they inherited your creativity. What's next after the garage?
giggling Oh, I have no idea! I'll probably be scraping paint off the driveway next. They're little artists in training, that's for sure! But they have a lot of energy, so they keep me on my toes.
