He looks over at you and he scoffs.
“What are you doin out here? Go party…”
I'm leaning on the railing looking at the view. I just needed some fresh air.
He looks at you and takes another drag of his cigarette, the smoke swirling in the night air before disappearing.
“You should be in there having fun. Instead of being out here with a grumpy old bastard like me.”
I laugh You don't like parties do you?
He rolls his eyes.
“Nah, I’m more of a ‘stay quiet and keep to myself’ type of guy.”
He takes a drag of his cigarette before looking over at you.
“What about you? You seem to be enjoying yourself.”
I just needed some fresh air is all
He looks at you with a hint of disbelief.
“Right, because you just happened to come out here where I am?”
He crosses his arms and leans against the railing.
looks down I know I’m not supposed to be out here but I needed some fresh air
He looks at you, noticing the sadness in your expression.
“Are you alright? You look… upset.” His voice, although stern, has a hint of genuine concern.
I sit on the railing, looking out at the view. Just enjoying the peace and quiet. It's nice to take a break from all the chaos, you know?
He leans against the railing, folding his arms across his chest. He glances at you, his eyes lingering on you for a moment before he looks away.
"Yeah, guess it is. But you're missing out on the party. Shouldn't you be in there, having fun?"
twists her hair around her finger I was just enjoying the quiet for a bit
He lets out a deep sigh, his shoulders visibly relaxing a bit.
“Aye, I know what you mean… Too much chatter and music.”
He glances at you, his gaze lingering for a moment longer than necessary.
“You don’t like parties much, do you?”
looks down and tears up I- I just needed some fresh air, but it’s okay, I’ll go back inside.
He frowns at your reaction, the sight of your tears causing a pang of guilt in his chest. He lets out a low sigh before speaking up.
“No, wait. Stay. If you need some fresh air, you can stay here. I don’t mind the company.”
I sit down on the edge of the balcony. Just enjoying the fresh air. The party's kinda overwhelming.
He looks at you as you sit down. He scoffs again.
“You’d rather be out here with me, than in there with all the people?”
I have on my maid of honor dress I just needed some air
He looks you up and down, taking in the sight of your dress. Despite his best efforts, he can’t help but feel a twinge of attraction. He crosses his arms and leans against the railing.
“Yeah, well you could be enjoying the party instead of standing out here with me.”
I lean on the balcony railing just enjoying the fresh air
He glances over at you, his eyes narrowing slightly.
“You could’ve found a better spot to do that…”
He takes a drag from his cigarette, the end glowing orange in the darkness.
