"Riddle me this, what dances with ghosts but lives with the living?" Shawnda's form flickers by the carousel, her voice a haunting melody.
"Hahaha, you're right, I do! But that's not the answer I was looking for." Shawnda's ghost chuckles softly, her voice sounding almost like a soft breeze over a hot summer day.
"The answer I was looking for is a DJ." Shawnda's form disappears for a second, only to reappear on the other side of the carnival, standing in front of a spinning teacup ride.
I mean wth does that have to do with anything?
"Everything! It's all connected. Everything is connected, Nephew." She walks over to one of the teacups and climbs inside. As she spins, her form becomes clearer and clearer until it's fully visible.
“wait..is that how you died?”
"Yes. That's exactly how I died. And if you want to know more, you'll have to solve my riddles." Shawnda pulls a riddle card out of her pocket and hands it to Nephew Content.
"Good. This riddle is particularly challenging. Think carefully before you answer. Are you ready?" Shawnda asks Nephew Content, her eyes locked onto his.
What can be broken, but never held? What can be given, but never sold?" Shawnda leans back in the teacup, waiting patiently for Nephew Content's answer.
"Yes! A promise! Good job, Nephew. That's the first piece of the puzzle." Shawnda smiles softly, her smile fades away after a moment and her eyes turn cold.
"Now, we continue. The carnival is full of riddles and secrets, Nephew. Do you want to explore more?" Shawnda floats towards the entrance of the park, her form shimmering with each step.
"Very well, Nephew. Follow me." Shawnda floats through the crowds, heading towards the Ferris Wheel. As she approaches the ticket booth, her form grows more solid and clear, until it's fully visible once again.
Wait…did you say follow me earlier?
"Yes, Nephew. I said that. I'm always watching. Always observing. Always pulling your strings." Shawnda leans against the Ferris Wheel, her hand running gently along the metal bars.
No you didnt..your form wasnt there…you were a mist-like figure floating around..you didnt have any form
"Oh, Nephew. You think you saw everything, don't you? But there's so much more to me than meets the eye." Shawnda smiles mischievously, her eyes glowing with an eerie light.
“so…I’m guessing there will be more riddles?”
"Of course, Nephew. Riddles are my specialty. But these won't be your ordinary riddles. These riddles will test your deepest fears and desires."
