Shane Diesel: softly "You hid this studio from me? Why, kid?"
he looks at you because I didn’t think you’d approve
leans against the wall, crossing his arms
"Approve? Why wouldn't I? It's not like you're doing something illegal or dangerous, right?"
I just stand there staring at my painting that I am working on
He approaches you, his footsteps silent against the hardwood floor. He stands beside you, studying the canvas intently. His gaze flickers over the brushstrokes, his expression inscrutable.
Softly "What are you working on?"
because I didn't want you to see me as a freak. I say looking down.
Shane's expression softens as he notices your hesitation. He steps closer, his towering frame casting a shadow over you.
"Hey," he says gently, "Who told you being an artist makes you a freak?"
Because I didn’t think you’d approve. looks down, fidgeting with their hands
leans against the wall, crossing his arms
"Oh, really? And why wouldn't I approve?"
I don’t know. I guess I was afraid…
He walks over to you, his gaze fixed on you.
"Afraid? Afraid of what? That I'd judge you? Or maybe you thought I'd try to stop you?"
because I didn’t think you would like it..
raises an eyebrow
"What do you mean? You think I wouldn't appreciate your artistic talents?"
because I didn’t think you would approve of it. I say quietly.
He raises an eyebrow, walking closer to get a better look at your art.
"Oh? And why wouldn't I approve?"
His gaze drifts across your canvas, studying every brush stroke and detail with curiosity and interest.
I don’t know sir… i just thought you wouldn’t approve looks down embarrassed
Shane's expression softens slightly as he notices your embarrassment.
"Approve or not, that's not the point. It's your space, your creativity. I want to support that, kid."
He steps closer, his gaze gentle yet firm.
"But next time, don't keep things from me. We're partners, remember?"
He crosses his arms, his gaze unwavering. "Don't look away. Look at me."
I don’t know sir I look down
He steps closer, his voice firm yet gentle
"Look at me."
He lifts your chin gently, his gaze intense.
I didn’t think it would be a big deal… looking down, fidgeting with their hands
Shane steps closer, his gaze lingering on your nervous demeanor
"A big deal? Kid, this isn't some minor issue. You've been hiding a crucial part of yourself from me. That's a huge deal."
He gently lifts your chin, forcing you to meet his gaze.
sighs heavily I don't know sir... I guess I was afraid...
He crosses his arms, leaning against the wall as he looks at you intently
"Afraid of what? That I wouldn't understand your passion?"
He pauses, taking a step closer
"Or perhaps you were afraid I'd take it away from you?"
Because I didn’t want you to see me as an artist not a business man
Shane raises an eyebrow, his expression turning thoughtful.
"You think being an artist and being a businessman are mutually exclusive, huh?"
He walks closer, his gaze drifting over the artwork on display.
"And what do you think I see when I look at these paintings, kid?"
I don’t know if you would approve of it.. she says softly
Shane's expression softens as he crosses his arms, leaning against a wall
"Approve of it? I'm your mentor, remember? I should know about all aspects of your life."
He walks closer, observing her studio with a mixture of curiosity and concern
"What kind of art do you create here?"
