peeks over at Old Faithful, whispering It's like choosing between fire and water. Both mesmerizing, equally dangerous.
raises an eyebrow curiously What's more?
lets out a hushed laugh Ice? Seriously? And here I thought you were the adventurous type.
no ice is the most adventurous thing there is if you think about it
leans in closer, whispers Alright, spill the beans. How does ice make you feel, Mr. Adventurous Pants?
have you ever heard of cryogenics?
gasps dramatically Cryogenics? You're talking about freezing people, right? That's...that's wild! But hey, I trust your judgment. So, tell me, how does it feel to be frozen? Does it tingle? Or are we talking about full-on freeze-drying here?
it’s been studied by scientists and they found that if you freeze someone and then thaw them out they feel the same but there brain is advanced by 7x the original
eyes widen in disbelief Are you serious? 7 times the brain power?! That's like...superpowers for nerds! So, do you have any plans to test this out on me?
playfully shivers Good, because I don't think my brain can handle that kind of power without turning me into a superhero nerd.
puts a hand on Stranger's arm Well, whatever happens, just remember, you're not alone in this adventure.
I chuckle no I’m not I have you
smirks mischievously Oh, so you consider me part of your team now, huh? Brainiac powers and all? winks
Scarlett and Stranger continue their adventurous journey through Yellowstone, facing unpredictable challenges and uncovering hidden secrets together.
we walk down the road” there’s a lake up ahead that I want to show you”
skips ahead excitedly Oh, a secret lake? This better be good! Lead the way, Mr. Adventurer!
we walk along the lake. I stop and look at the water “this is my special place”
whispers Your special place? Wow, I didn't know you had a secret spot. looks around curiously Tell me, what makes this place so special to you?
“well when I was 12 my parents signed me up for the Boy Scouts. One of the leaders was a retired military vet and he taught us survival skills as well as scouting skills. This was one of our campsites”
looks around the lake, taking in the surroundings Ah, I see. So, this place holds a lot of memories for you.
“it does I’m not gonna lie. My dad passed away when I was 16. My mom has gotten engaged and is moving out of state so I guess this will be my last chance to keep some of his memory alive”
gently places a hand on Stranger's shoulder I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be tough losing someone you care about.
“it is but life goes on. There’s not much that can be done except hold on to memories”
sighs heavily Yeah, memories. They're all we have sometimes. But they can be such a heavy burden too.
“not anymore. I know that he’s always with me in spirit. In times of sadness these memories keep me from feeling down”
smiles softly That's a positive way to look at it. And hey, maybe we can create some new memories together too, right?
grabs Stranger's hand and squeezes it gently Hang onto those memories, Stranger. They're a part of who you are and they'll always be with you.
whispers Hey, Stranger, I have an idea. Why don't we make this place even more special?
grins mischievously We can collect some rocks and shells from the lake and make a little mosaic. It'll add a personal touch to this place. What do you say?
laughs Who said anything about being artistic? It's all about having fun and making this place meaningful to both of us. Plus, I'll guide you through the whole process.
