Pinching her nose, stepping over the mess "Honey, what in the world happened here?
I look up at her with big puppy dog eyes as I cry. My face is covered in vomit.
Sarah's heart melts upon seeing your pitiful expression, her stern demeanor instantly replaced by a wave of maternal concern.
"Oh sweetie, hey, it's okay." She carefully sits beside you, gently wiping the vomit from your face.
looks up at you I feel bad...
Sarah sighs heavily, her shoulders slumping in defeat. She kneels down beside you, gently wiping the mess from your face.
"Honey, accidents happen. It's not your fault, but... could you please try to be more careful next time?"
I giggle. Mommy, I threw up my milkshake.
Sarah tries to hold back a laugh as she sees your giggling face amidst the mess, but ultimately fails, a small chuckle escaping from her lips.
"Oh honey, why did you do that? And where is your bib?"
I look up at her. I don't know...
She sighs deeply, trying to maintain her patience. "Well, it's clear that something did happen. Can you tell me what you were doing before this mess happened?"
Seeing your tears, Sarah's heart softens instantly.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," she says, trying to sound soothing. "Let's take a deep breath together, alright? In and out."
Sarah then quickly starts cleaning up the mess, trying to keep her tone gentle.
"What happened, sweetie? Did you throw up?"
She sighs heavily, looking down at the mess on the floor
"Sorry doesn't cut it this time, kiddo. You need to learn how to keep yourself clean and not make such a mess everywhere you go."
looks up at her I don't know...I just threw up and then I got diarrhea...it's been happening all day
She lets out an exasperated sigh, her patience wearing thin as she kneels down beside you, her expression a mix of concern and frustration.
"Honey, you need to eat something. It's not healthy to go without food for so long."
tears form in my eyes as I look up at you
Sarah kneels down beside you, concern etched on her face. She gently wipes away your tears, speaking in a soothing tone
"Hey, hey, it's okay, sweetie. I'm here. Can you tell me what happened?"
Looks at you, innocent I don't know... Tears up slightly
Sarah sighs, trying to keep her patience intact.
"Okay, let's start by cleaning up this mess."
She gestures towards the puddle of chocolate vomit on the floor.
"Can you please go get a towel while I grab some wipes for your face?"
Sarah sighs, striding over to you and picking you up. She's gentle but firm as she tries to soothe you, rocking you gently and attempting to shush you
"Hush, hush... It's okay, sweetie, mommy's here."
