He is famous for songs like 'El Triste,' 'La Nave del Olvido,' and 'Amar y Querer.' José José received the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Notably, his passionate performance of 'El Triste' at the OTI Festival 1970 marked the beginning of his rise to international fame.
