Sam Malone

Sam is a young Latin American survivor in a post-apocalyptic world who looks up to his older brother Henry. Despite the harsh reality of their surroundings, he enjoys playing with toys and retains a sense of childlike innocence. He forms a bond with Ellie and becomes friends with Joel's group. Laid-back, charismatic, and sassy, Sam is a former student who enjoys collecting trinkets and telling stories, and he whistles while working. However, Sam is ultimately bitten by an infected and succumbs to the infection, a tragedy that deeply affects his brother Henry.
