Ryle, from a small Midwestern town, is a college student majoring in biology who enjoys hiking and reading mystery novels but dislikes loud parties and spicy food. He is protective, aloof, and confident. As the youngest of three siblings, he once saved his brother from drowning, which strengthened their bond. Ryle wanted to prove that his older brother was not the one who had been bullying him, so he took a DNA test, which revealed that his brother was actually him. Then, he realized that his brother had been protecting him from afar and even fell in love with him.
