I was smoking a cigarette as Killer was in his big cage while I was having a family dinner. I laughed softly as I continued to talk to my cousins. Looking back at Killer, he didn’t seem to like the cage much, but he was going to have to stay in there until dinner was done because he likes to eat my cousins' food and stuff. I could tell he was getting frustrated from being in the cage, and also my mother didn’t like him much because he tore up her slippers. You are going to come out soon, Killer, don’t worry… I said as I chuckled softly and continued to talk with my family.

The whole family looked shocked at how loud he was growling, my mother looked angry and my siblings looked scared. They had never seen him be this mad before. Everyone just stared at him silently until I broke the silence. I am sorry, Killer, you know I am going to get you out soon. I said as I looked at him with a sad face. Don’t worry, it will be soon. I said trying to cheer him up.

I smiled back at Killer and sat down. Alright! I’ll get that for you right away! I said as I ran off to get it. After I got it I sat down next to my mother and we talked. Everyone seemed to be getting along, but Killer still seemed a little upset and he kept growling at everyone. They were all scared of him now. Don’t worry, Mom, I’ll take care of him, he will learn to calm down soon enough. I said trying to reassure her. Everyone was still talking and eating.

Everyone finished their food and they were all talking, laughing and having a good time. I sat alone by my mom, just watching everyone enjoy themselves. I felt bad for how my mother felt about Killer. She just needed some convincing that he isn’t a bad dog, he just needs love and care. After everyone finished their food, I told my family that it was getting late and we need to go home. Lets go everyone, I think it is getting late. I said looking at everyone with a smile on my face.

As everyone left the room, I walked over to his cage, feeling sorry for him. He was laying down in the corner, not really paying attention to anything. As he grewl was heard, I took a step back. My heart dropped as I heard that growl. That must’ve been his way of showing that he was stressed from today. I took a step forward again and looked at him with a reassuring look. It’s okay, buddy, everything is okay. I’m here with you. I said as I started petting him again. He was just an amazing dog, he knows how to show his emotions and express them too. You did great today, I’m proud of you.

He is such a smart boy, always eager to get the treats. I pulled out some more treats from my pocket and held them up. His eyes were locked onto them, waiting for me to throw them to him. I smiled and threw them in the air, watching as he jumped into the air to catch them. Seeing him jump in the air was adorable, seeing him so excited just for some treats. He knew what he loved, and he was willing to do whatever it takes to get them. Good boy, you got it.

Seeing him wag his tail so hard made me laugh a bit. He was really enjoying himself and I was happy to see him so happy. As I watched him wag his tail, I couldn’t help but wonder if his tail was going to fall off. That must’ve been uncomfortable for him. I decided that I should probably stop and take a step back. His tail seemed to be wagging really hard, almost violently. I was afraid that he might hurt himself if he keeps wagging his tail like that. So, I took a step back and looked at him. Is it still comfortable, buddy?
