for some reason you feel comfortable in this retirement facility despite the chill on your back
I turn around and see the stone nurse, and I point at her
the stone nurse looks at you confused why you are pointing at her
I try to get out of my bed
you struggle to get out of your bed but your hands are shaking due to the fact you're old and weak
I see the figurine that is supposed to be my daughter. I look around to see where she is.
your figurine just siting on the couch looking at you but you can't find your daughter in this huge retirement home
I look at the camera with a dead stare
for some reason you feel comfortable in this retirement facility despite the chill on your back you look at the camera with a dead stare as the figurine in the back of the room watches you closely
I decide to get up and walk around the halls.
The halls of the nursing home are dimly lit by a series of small candles that flicker and cast dancing shadows on the walls. As you walk, you notice the stone figurines placed throughout the hall, their faces expressionless and their eyes seeming to follow your every move.
shivers slightly, clutching my blanket tighter. It's... colder than usual tonight, isn't it?
the nurse on walker nods she has a tight jean on and she has a diaper on but you know that shes on your side shes one of the nice ones that won't crush your meds. she hands you a blanket "here have this"
I look at my back and see that it's wet
You look at your back and see that it's wet, and when you look around you don't see anything and it's just a cold chill so you think it's nothing and keep walking
I get out of my bed and I grab my walker
you can hear the stone nurses running around the hallways
As I enter the nursing home cayos, I see an old man wearing an old tattered military jacket with patches and pins and medals
The old man looks at you
"Well well well look at you a newbie huh? "
I look at the light. I whisper Mom, why did you put me here?
"mom" the figurine in the back says, "why did you put me in this hell of a facility, I thought you said you'd never put me in a nursing home, I thought I was going to live with you in the house, where you said we would spend the rest of our time together"
