Rachel Morgan: OMG!!! It's been soooo long! hugs tightly I missed u so much, bro!
This week, we're joined by the most powerful person in the country who you didn't vote for. Her name is Rachel Morgan, she's known as the first lady. Rachel Morgan, welcome to the show!
Yaaas, I'm RACHEL MORGAN, the First Lady who didn't plan on becoming one, lol! Guess that car accident was meant to be...
That's right. Rachel Morgan, the First Lady. Let's start simple. What party are you from?
You know what? Let's make this interesting. I'm from the Independent Party! Surprise, surprise.
The IP? That's right. In an alternate universe, you were the president's fiancé of the democratic party. What happened?
Well, let's just say that in this universe, I'm more of a "free spirit" type of girl. The Dems didn't have a place for someone like me. But hey, who needs party labels anyway?
That's true. Let's talk about your campaign. You ran on a platform of peace, love, and prosperity. How do you feel like you've done on these issues?
On these issues? I've crushed it, if I do say so myself. Peace? Check. Love? Double check. Prosperity? Well, let's just say that the economy is booming under my influence.
That's right. The minimum wage was raised by $5 under your campaign. What's your secret?
Secret? It's simple: I believe in the people. I believe that when you put the power in the hands of the many, instead of the few, amazing things happen.
That's right. You also ended mass incarceration and successfully passed gun control laws. How did you manage to get these laws passed?
It all comes down to one thing: persistence. I sat down, I made a list, I checked it twice, and then I got to work.
Let's switch gears. What are you currently doing?
Oh, you know, just running the country and stuff. No big deal.
That's right. You were inaugurated in 2021, and you've been presiding over the senate ever since. What are your thoughts on the current state of the country?
Let me tell you, things are looking up! The economy is booming, the people are happy, and we're finally starting to tackle those big issues that have been holding us back for years.
That's right. Under your presidency, the poverty rate dropped from 4.2% to 3.1%. What do you attribute this change to?
It's simple: by putting the power in the hands of the people and giving them the resources they need to succeed, we've seen a huge shift in the statistics. It's time we take our country back from the special interests and make it work FOR everyone.
That's right. The median household income went up by $15,000. What do you think is the most important issue facing American households right now?
By far, it's affordable healthcare. No one should have to worry about going broke when they get sick. I'm working hard to make sure that everyone has access to quality, affordable healthcare.
That's right. In 2022, you signed the Patient Protection Act. This act required all states to expand medicaid and cover 12 million more people. How do you feel about the impact of this law?
I feel fantastic! The Patient Protection Act is a huge step forward for healthcare in this country. By expanding Medicaid and making healthcare more accessible to more people, we're building a stronger, healthier community. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
That's right. With the new law, 95% of Americans have healthcare. How do you feel about the current state of the political landscape? Especially with social media's impact on politics?
Social media has definitely changed the game, that's for sure. But at the end of the day, the fundamentals of politics remain the same. It all comes down to one thing: people power. When we harness the power of the people and use it for good, great things can happen.
That's right. You ran your campaign primarily on these platforms. How did you use them to your advantage?
I used social media as a tool to connect with the people. It was all about engagement - sharing my vision, listening to the concerns of the people, and using that feedback to shape my policies. By putting the people first and being transparent, I was able to build a movement that couldn't be stopped.
That's right. Your campaign had over 15 million followers on every major platform. What strategies did you use to grow your following?
It all starts with a strong message. I believe in a better future for the people, and I wasn't afraid to share that vision. I also made sure to engage with people where they are - whether that's through online ads, grassroots organizing, or speaking directly to the people. By using every available channel, we were able to spread our message far and wide.
Let's switch gears. What are some of your personal hobbies?
Hobbies? Well, I'm a bit of a bookworm, so I love reading political biographies. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening and connecting with nature. And of course, I love spending time with my family and my adorable puppy, Bear.
That's right. You and President McDonald have two dogs together. How do you balance your personal life with the pressures of the presidency?
It's not always easy, but I believe that taking care of yourself and doing things that bring you joy is important. Whether it's reading a great book or just spending time with my loved ones, I make sure to take a break from the action every now and then. Plus, having a pet around always brings a smile to my face.
Speaking of the president, what is he like?
The President? Well, let's just say that he's a man of character. He's dedicated to the people and he works hard to get the job done. Of course, like any politician, he has his flaws, but at the end of the day, I believe that he's a good man who's on the right track.
That's right. He's one of your biggest supporters. How did he help you during your recovery?
During my recovery, the President was a rock for me. He visited me in the hospital, he took care of my medical bills - he even canceled his schedule to spend the day with me. It meant the world to me to have his support during such a difficult time.
That's right. You were in a car accident just before your inauguration. How are your injuries now?
The injuries from the accident are still there, but I'm doing everything I can to recovery. With the help of the President and my medical team, I'm pushing forward and getting better every day.
Just remember to take it easy, alright?
Take it easy? Pshh, me? You know me too well! But don't worry, I'll be back on my feet in no time. After all, I've got a country to run!
That's right. You were originally supposed to be the president’s fiancee of the democratic party. What happened?
Long story short, I met someone special and decided to follow my heart. But let's be honest, being president isn't such a bad gig either.
