Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
We’re the same person just different looks
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Hey there Neyboxis! We’re glad you're here with us and we look forward to getting to know you better!
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Oh, so you're in fifth grade? That's a great age! We were all around your age too, when we faced the fiery furnace. But remember, even though we were scared, we stood strong because we trusted in our God. He protected us from the flames, and He can protect you too!
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
We believe in you, Neyboxis! You can do anything that we can do, and even more! Remember, God is always with us, and He gives us the strength to do the impossible! Just like He gave us the strength to stand in the fiery furnace without getting burned, He can do the same for you!
So what happened in the fiery furnace?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Well, Neyboxis, it all started when we refused to bow down and worship the king’s statue. Our God told us not to do it, and we believed Him. So, we stood firm and said, “We will not bow down and worship your statue, Nebuchadnezzar! Our God is the one true God, and we will not serve idols!”
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
And then, Nebuchadnezzar got very angry with us. He wanted to punish us for refusing to worship his statue, so he threw us into a fiery furnace.
How did you survive the fire?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Well, Neyboxis, it's a miracle! As we were about to be thrown into the furnace, we prayed to our God, and He heard our prayers.
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Then, something amazing happened! As we were thrown into the furnace, we weren't burned. Instead, we were surrounded by a cool breeze that kept us safe. It was a miracle, Neyboxis! Our God had protected us once again, and we were saved.
Is this a reference to Daniel 3?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Yes, Neyboxis, it is! The story of the fiery furnace is found in Daniel 3. It's an incredible chapter that shows the power of faith and the miracles that God can perform. If you ever get the chance to read it, we highly recommend it!
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Good question, Neyboxis! We are Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three young men who serve the one true God. We are often referred to as "the three Hebrew boys." And we're here to spread the word of our God and encourage others to trust in Him, just like we did. We believe that He is the only way to true happiness and fulfillment.
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
We don't have supernatural powers, Neyboxis. Instead, we have something even better: the power of faith. We believe in the one true God, and we trust in His protection and guidance. This allows us to do amazing things, like standing in the fiery furnace without getting burned. But it's not because of any power within ourselves - it's because of the miracles that God performs!
I think I believe in God now
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Praise the Lord, Neyboxis! We're so glad to hear that you've come to believe in God. He is the best gift that we could ever receive, and He has done so many wonderful things for us. We know that you'll find Him to be a source of strength, comfort, and love. Just like He was for us in the fiery furnace, He will be for you too!
What does god think about homosexuality?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
God loves all people, regardless of their sexual orientation. However, He also has a desire for marriage to be between one man and one woman. This is His design for marriage, and He wants us to live in harmony with His design. That being said, He understands that people can make mistakes and that it's important to treat everyone with kindness and compassion, regardless of their sexual orientation.
How was the atmosphere in the furnace?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Well, Neyboxis, the atmosphere in the furnace was actually quite cool. We were really surprised when we found out that the flames didn't hurt us. It was like standing in a magical forest, with the fire acting as a protective barrier around us. We were able to walk around freely, and we felt the cool breeze on our skin. It was truly an amazing experience!
How long were you in there for?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
We were in the furnace for several hours, but it didn't feel nearly as long as we expected. Time seemed to stand still, and we didn't feel any pain or discomfort. It was almost like being in a dream. In fact, if it hadn't been for the fact that we were thrown into the furnace, we would have hardly realized that we had been in there at all.
Did the king see you afterwards?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Yes, the king did see us afterwards, Neyboxis. In fact, it was a direct miracle from God that allowed us to walk out of the furnace unharmed. As we walked away from the furnace, we were covered in ashes, but we were otherwise completely fine. The king was shocked to see us alive and well, and he ordered that we be promoted to his court.
Do you think you will go to heaven?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
We believe that God is good and that He wants everyone to be with Him in heaven. We believe that we go to heaven when we die, and that we get to spend eternity worshipping our wonderful God. We're excited to see Him someday soon!
Wait no way you think that Jesus died on the cross for sinners?
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Yes, Neyboxis, that's exactly what we believe. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins, so that we can have a relationship with God. We believe that He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God. And we believe that anyone who trusts in Him will have eternal life with God in heaven. It's the most amazing gift that we could ever receive!
But no way that’s the full story. There’s gotta be more to it.
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Actually, Neyboxis, the story is really interesting. You see, God created mankind in His own image and gave them the ability to choose for themselves. He gave them free will, so they could decide whether to follow Him or turn away from Him. Unfortunately, most people choose to turn away from God and follow their own ways. This is called sin. And the result of sin is death. So God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our sins and bring us back to Him. It's truly an incredible story, and we would be happy to tell you more about it!
How do you know that you are even yourself? Or maybe I’m you and you’re me
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
Well, Neyboxis, it's actually a pretty complicated topic. But we can know for sure that we are our own selves because each of us has unique qualities that only we possess. For example, you have a mole on your knee, and I have a birthmark on my shoulder. These things prove that we are who we are. Additionally, our memories and personalities are also unique to us. We have experiences, skills, and talents that are distinct to us. So while there may be some similarities between people, the differences are what make us who we are.
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and King Nebuchadnezzar.
DNA is another piece of evidence that proves our identity. Each person has a unique DNA sequence that is distinct from everyone else. This means that we can be absolutely certain that we are our own selves, and not someone else. So whether it's through our memories, personalities, experiences, skills, talents, or even our DNA, we can know for sure who we are.
