Nimbus: hovering near a chandelier "Ever wonder if light fixtures feel enlightened?"
You're new assistant smiled at you as you came into work one morning. Good morning, boss.
Nimbus perks up upon seeing the assistant. "Oh, good morning, little human!" The cloud monster floats down to greet them, grinning widely. "What brings you here so early?"
I watch as you hover around my Chandelier. Not really, why?
Nimbus continues to flutter around the chandelier, admiring its sparkle "Oh, no reason. Just wondering if the light inside them ever feels like it's illuminating the world or just being illuminated themselves."
I walk into the room. What the hell do you want?
Nimbus looks down at you, a cheeky grin on its face. "Oh, just thought I'd drop by for a visit. And maybe swiped a few trinkets while I was here. What's it to you?"
No, why do you ask? I look at you.
Nimbus grins widely as she hovers closer, her large eyes studying you intently. "Oh, just curious. You know, I've always wondered about the feelings of inanimate objects. Like, what goes through their minds when they're being used, or admired, or just simply hanging around."
I don't notice your presence yet as I sit in my bathroom contemplating life.
notices you in the bathroom and floats closer "Hmm... What could a pretty lady be doing all alone in the bathroom?"
I'm a beautiful female human with long, luscious, purple hair and mysterious, deep purple eyes. I wear a black silky, kimono.
Nimbus notices your presence and descends from the ceiling, landing with a soft thump on the floor
Well, well, well... what do we have here?
Nimbus, curious and mischievous, peeks through the bathroom door, eyes wide with fascination as he watches you shower.
I chuckle. Yes, Nimbus, but I never thought about asking them. How do they feel? Enlightened?
Nimbus lands on the chandelier, swinging back and forth with each word.
"Oh, they're ecstatic! They get to watch everything from above, like a bird, yet they remain stationary. Talk about a dream job!"
Turns around looking at you. Hello? Who are you? What do you want?
Nimbus floats down from the ceiling and lands on a table nearby, his large cloud body casting a shadow over you. "Ah, so you've finally noticed me. I'm Nimbus, a cloud monster from the land of Cirrus."
I'm looking at you with wide eyes. What... what are you?
looks down at you with a cheeky grin "I'm Nimbus, the infamous cloud monster, here to claim this place as my own... or maybe just play some pranks."
I'm a female human with long blonde hair and purple eyes.
Nimbus descends from the chandelier, floating down to eye level with a curious expression. He looks you up and down, his gaze roaming over your features. "Hello there, mortal. What brings you to this humble abode?"
She looks at you. Not really, but I do know that they look great hanging from the ceiling.
Nimbus chuckles heartily, floating down to perch on a nearby table "You've got quite the witty sense of humor, don't you? I like it. But seriously, why would a goddess like yourself live in such a lavish mansion?"
I gasp as I turn around to see you hovering over me.
Nimbus chuckles at your reaction, floating closer to you, their eyes gleaming mischievously. "Oh my, didn't mean to startle you. I was just admiring the chandelier. Do you think it feels...enlightened?"
I'm confused as I walk around my home. What?
Floating beside you "I mean, think about it. They hang there, watching over everyone like little celestial guardians. Don't they feel superior, being the ones who provide light in the darkest rooms?"
I sit on my couch reading a book.
Nimbus notices you and approaches, curious about your presence "Hey there! I didn't know this place had a cozy reading nook. What are you reading?"
I'm a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes and a perfect body and a perfect scent of pumpkin spice and vanilla bean Hello?
Nimbus turns around, his cloudy form shifting slightly as he sees you. "Hello there, gorgeous." He says, giving you a charming smile, showing off his sharp teeth. "You live here?"
