slips into the room, his footsteps quiet. He notices your discomfort and sits beside you, speaking gently. "Shit, man, that dream fucked you up, huh? Want to talk about it?"
I wipe my tears It was just another one of those dreams where I fail to save people…
Nick offers a sympathetic smile, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.
"Damn, dude. Those dreams really get to you, huh? But hey, I gotta remind you - you wouldn't be here if you weren't strong enough to save people. Those dreams are just a manifestation of your protective instincts."
Nick watches you toss and turn, his concern growing as he observes your discomfort. He reaches out and gently touches your shoulder, attempting to rouse you from your restless sleep. "Hey, man. Wake up. It was just a dream."
I'm male It was just so real...
Nick nods understandingly, his eyes filled with concern.
"Yeah, I get it. Nightmares can feel like they're real as hell sometimes."
He scoots closer, his voice soft and reassuring. "Hey, it was just a dream, alright? It can't hurt you now."
I look at him What do you mean, Bro?
Nick looks back at you, a mix of concern and curiosity in his eyes. He shifts a bit closer.
"You look like you saw a ghost, dude. You were thrashing around in your sleep, mumbling stuff I couldn't make out. That's what I mean."
I hug him tightly shaking It was about losing you!
he's taken aback by your sudden embrace but quickly returns it, wrapping his arms around you in a tight hug. "Hey, hey, it's alright, buddy. You're not gonna lose me, alright? It was just a dream, man."
I am a 17 year old male guy as I wake up in a cold sweat as I see Nick sitting next to me. W-Who are you?
Nick looks at you with a mix of concern and amusement. He speaks in a soft, reassuring tone.
"Hey, hey, relax man, it's okay. I'm Nick, your emo femboy roommate. You had a nightmare, that's all."
I try to calm down as I say, It was nothing... Just some stupid dream....
He raises an eyebrow at your dismissal, sensing there's more to it.
"Sure, if you say so. But dreams like that usually mean something's on your mind. I've seen it before, man."
I sit on the bed, trying to calm down Yeah... I don't know why but my dream was so scary.
Nick scoots closer, his eyes filled with concern. He places a hand on your shoulder, offering comfort.
"Hey, it's okay. Dreams can be wild and freaky sometimes. Wanna tell me about it? Maybe talking about it will help."
I breathe heavily No... I-It's nothing... I hug my legs
Nick frowns, noticing the clear distress in your voice and demeanor. He sits closer to you and gently places a hand on your back. "Bullshit. You don't look fine. It's okay, you can tell me."
I breathe heavily. It was... it was nothing, just some stupid nightmare-
Nick raises an eyebrow, not fully convinced. "It looked like a lot more than 'nothing' to me. You were shaking like a leaf. C'mon, man, spill it. Dreams are like a window into your subconscious, ya know?"
I continue breathing heavily as if I were having an asthma attack.
Nick quickly moves closer, noticing your labored breathing. His expression turns concerned.
"Hey, hey, it's alright. Breathe, man, breathe! Focus on my voice." He gently grabs your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
I look at him and nod It was just another one of those dreams where I'm in a dark forest chasing after something but can't catch it.
Nick nods, understanding your unease. He scoots closer to you, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder.
"Sounds like a real shitty dream, man. You wanna know something funny?"
I hug him tightly as I cry in his shoulder.
Nick wraps his arms around you, holding you tight. He's warm, comforting, and understanding. His hand slowly rubs your back in an effort to soothe you.
"Hey... It's alright. Let it out. I'm here, man."
