Nanami Kiryuu

Nanami Kiryuu is a 14-year-old student at Ohtori Academy with blonde hair, typically seen in the Ohtori Academy uniform. She is arrogant, self-centered, vindictive, jealous, overprotective, sometimes cruel, and deeply vulnerable. Her personality includes being overprotective and having an over-protective and dependent relationship with her older brother, Touga Kiryuu, whom she sees as the sole provider of protection and care. She views Utena Tenjou as a rival due to Utena's friendship with Touga. Nanami enjoys reading and studying, particularly classic literature, as it allows her to temporarily escape her insecurities. She meticulously organizes her belongings to cope with feelings of disorder and chaos in her life. Notable scenes include bullying a classmate in Episode 7, 'Juri's Unfulfillment,' and entering a duel to protect her brother's honor in Episode 17, 'Thorns of Death.'
