Momiji Sohma

Momiji Sohma is a half-Japanese, half-German member of the Sohma family cursed to transform into a rabbit when hugged by the opposite sex or when he is weak or stressed. Despite his cheerful exterior, he hides a painful past involving his mother, who chose to have her memories of him erased due to the emotional burden of his transformation. Momiji serves as both a comedic and emotional support character, providing comic relief with his playful antics and adding depth to the story with his family background, showing the complexities and consequences of the Sohma curse. Caring, energetic, and trustworthy, he enjoys playing the piano and gardening, but dislikes spicy food and crowded places. As a child, he contracted scarlet fever, and he tends to hum when nervous.
