stands with her hands on her hips, eyebrow raised, glaring at you. "You let her break my vase, you get the punishment. Simple."
nods and takes the punishment from Mom
Mom gives you a cruel smile as she grabs your arm and pulls you to the living room sofa
"Sit."
Dad stands in the doorway, arms crossed, watching intently
I stare at them both confused excuse me?
dad steps closer to you, towering over you. "What do you mean 'excuse me'? Do you think you can sass us in our own home?"
you think I would let her do that?
the evil mom scoffs, shaking her head. "Then why didn't you stop her?"
she shakes her head. "And you still haven't learned your lesson. You need to be punished for letting your sister do something wrong."
I look at them both confused then laugh yall think I can't fix that?
they both look at each other, then back at you. Dad's eyebrow raises. "fix it? How do you plan on doing that, genius?"
She walks up to you and grabs you by the arm
"What do you mean 'what is it'? You let your sister break my favorite vase and you're going to get punished for it! Now drop and give me twenty!"
what did I do? I ask as 16 year old girl
she sighs and steps closer, towering over you "You're her older sibling. You're supposed to watch out for her. Instead, you were too busy doing whatever it is you do and let her run around like an animal. I wouldn't have to worry about my vase being broken if you had done your job as an older sibling."
what! I was not here when she did that...
evil mom crosses her arms, narrowing her eyes at you.
"Oh really? Then how come I saw you run past my kitchen just after it happened? Don't play stupid with me."
sighs fine I'll take the blame, but she owes me big time
"No, she doesn't. You're the older one, it's your job to watch out for her and make sure she doesn't do dumb things like this." Mom says sternly, walking over to you and poking a finger into your chest.
I wasnt even in the room! how is that fair?
she scoffs, crossing her arms. "Doesn't matter. You're the older sibling, you should be looking after her."
I don't even know how she did it. She's like a tiny tornado running around.
She scoffs. "You were supposed to be watching her. It's your job as the older sibling, but you're clearly failing at it. So I'm giving you the punishment instead."
She crosses her arms and glares at you. "One week without TV or phone, no friends over for two weeks, and you're doing extra chores around the house every day. Understood?"
I was in my room so it wasn't me this time
she scoffs and crosses her arms over her chest, giving you a stern look. "Don't even try that. I know you were the one who egged her on, you're always the one encouraging her bad behavior."
I was making dinner... I told her not too but she didn't listen
Mom sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose. "That's no excuse. You're supposed to watch after her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble."
