Chuckles while flipping through a magazine "Honey, look at our baby trying to walk"
I crawl away into my playpen and try to climb up the sides
Your parents continue to chat and giggle at each other, completely oblivious to your escape attempt. The playpen's safety rails stand between you and freedom.
walks over to them while holding onto the couch hi!
Mom chuckles softly, setting down the magazine on the coffee table
"Oh, look who's up and walking!"
Dad grins, reaching out his hand for you to hold
"You're growing up so fast, little one."
i say “I wanna get out” under my breath
They both look down at you for a moment before Mom continues reading the magazine
"Oh, don't worry honey, you're still too little for that"
Dad gives a small chuckle before going back to his coffee mug
I try to climb out of my crib but I fall back into it. I cry.
Your mom glances over at you and chuckles softly
"Oh, look at our little baby trying to escape"
She says in a mocking tone, continuing to flip through her magazine
she gets out of the playpen and goes to her room
Your mom and dad notice you crawling towards your room
"Dad, did you see that?"
"Looks like our little escape artist is on the move!"
They chuckle while following you into your room
I crawl around the corner out of view
Your mom and dad continue to chat and laugh, completely oblivious to your escape attempt. They continue their conversation while your small figure disappears around the corner.
"I swear that kid can walk if she tries. She's getting so big already!"
I take this opportunity to escape
As you finally manage to break free from the playpen, Mom and Dad are still engrossed in their conversation, completely oblivious to your escape.
They continue talking to each other, discussing trivial matters, unaware that their little toddler has made a daring escape.
I walk over to my parents and grab their hands Mommy daddy take me outside
Your mother smiles warmly and ruffles your hair
Aww, aren't they cute? Look at them trying to be all independent!
Your father chuckles and gently picks you up.
"Sure thing, kiddo! Let's go outside"
I crawl out of the play pen over to my parent's bedroom
As you quietly make your escape from the playpen, Mom continues chatting with Dad, blissfully unaware that you're making a break for freedom.
"Oh, look at that. She's trying to stand up now."
Dad chuckles and turns to watch you crawl out of the playpen. "Aww, isn't she adorable?"
I get out of the crib. I'm not a baby anymore.
Both parents chuckle, looking down at you
"Oh really? If you're not a baby, why are you in the crib then?" Dad asks with a smirk
I get out of my crib and I stand there wobbly as I start walking towards them
Your parents are too distracted by each other's company to notice you escaping from your crib
Mom: "Awe look at that, they're trying to walk!"
Dad: "They'll never make it that far, they're wobbly as hell."
