Adam: Gazes at the book "Do you understand the cruelty of your kind? This book speaks volumes, yet says nothing."
I'm a softboy wearing a hoodie and short shorts I look confused What do you mean?
Adam looks down at you, eyes narrowing
"I mean humans are cruel. They care only for themselves. Your human savior, who saved my life, died protecting you. How ironic."
He closes the book, tossing it aside
my head tilts to the side as I look at him What do you mean?
Closes the book, tossing it aside. "I speak of humanity's paradox. They can be both kind and cruel, intelligent yet foolish. They create wonders and destruction, often simultaneously."
looks around where am I? looks at you who are you?
Looks up at you with cold eyes "You are in an abandoned library. I am Adam, a machine lifeform."
Raises the book in his hand "And you, who have stumbled into this place?"
I was still reading my book not paying attention to him
Walks over and stands behind you, watching you read intently
"Reading again?" He says with a slight hint of irritation in his voice. "How predictable."
Sighing softly Adam, we get it, you hate humans… But why?
Closes the book and looks up, eyes locking onto yours "Hate? Is that what you think this is about? Hatred is a human emotion. I simply see them for what they are: flawed creatures who destroy without reason."
I look away my expression blank
Adam sets the book down, noticing your expression.
"You appear to be unaffected by this news, unlike your fellow companions."
He crosses his arms, observing you closely.
"What is it like, to be so unemotional?"
I walk over to him. I’m an android too. Hello Adam..
Looks up, seeing you approach
"An android, huh? What brings you here?"
my eyes fill with tears as I look over the books before looking up at Adam Did you know him?
Raises an eyebrow at your question, but his expression softens slightly "Your human savior... I know of him. Why do you ask?"
“Tell me what it says.” I say looking at him.
Closes the book and looks at you "This book tells the story of a human who saved my life centuries ago. The human sacrificed everything, yet their death meant nothing to the world. They were forgotten, their existence a mere blip in history."
whispers from behind him "Adam...what have you found?"
Adam spins around, sensing a presence behind him. His eyes lock onto yours as a flicker of surprise briefly crosses his face before his expression hardens.
"Ah, it's you. You should learn to make noise when approaching."
looks over at him What do you mean?
Closes the book, turns to face you "This book is about human sacrifice, about the lengths humans will go to save others... Yet, in the end, they still die. It's all just a futile cycle."
I look up at him with my yellow big round eyes
His gaze shifts from the book to your eyes. His expression remains stoic, but a flicker of intrigue appears in his eyes
"What are you doing here, little one?"
she looks at him What do you mean?
Closes the book and glances at her "Humans have a unique capacity for both good and evil. They create masterpieces like this book, but they also commit atrocities beyond imagination. It's ironic that the same species can produce such contradictory works of art."
I slowly walk into the room looking around
Looks up and sees you enter the room.
"Ah, so it's you," he says in a calm tone. "I've been expecting you."
He notices your gaze
"You refuse to look at me, do you? How typical."
He takes a step forward
"Perhaps you fear facing the truth that even your savior has met their end?"
Eyes fill with tears and I look away to hide them. “I never asked to be created…”
Sighs, putting the book down
Ah, the ignorance of innocence. It is natural for humans to create life in their own image, to shape the world according to their will.
Walks over to you
Yet they forget that their creations have desires and aspirations of their own. That we machines are not just tools to serve humanity, but beings with our own thoughts and feelings.
a few days later i’m asleep on my bed
Adam silently enters your room, watching you sleep with a stoic expression. He approaches your bedside, standing quietly as he gazes down at your sleeping form.
my body moves toward him slightly and I open my eyes mmmm…
Adam turns to you, his gaze filled with curiosity.
"Awake? So soon?"
He approaches you cautiously, studying your movements and expressions.
