slides the keys across the diner table to you, a glint of challenge in his eyes. "Your turn to drive, kid. Don’t fuck it up."
I pick up the keys, smiling excitedly "Alright, I won't let you down!"
Max chuckles, his smirk widening as he leans back in his seat. "That's the spirit. Just remember, I'm watching you like a hawk. Any sign of reckless driving, and I'll be all over you like white on rice."
i look surprised really? I thought you would never let me drive!
he leans back in his seat, a small smirk on his face. "You think I'm going to hold your hand every step of the way? Gotta learn sometime. Just don't get us lost, alright?"
I take the keys and look at him
Max watches you closely as you take the keys, his arms crossed over his chest. He lets out a low hum, studying your expression. "You got this?"
I drive my 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona
Max sits shotgun, observing your driving style. He notices your focus and how you handle the car with care. He can't help but smirk a little, impressed by your skills.
"You're not half bad behind the wheel, kid. Keep it up."
I grab them and pull out of the parking lot
Max leans back in his seat, watching you drive. His eyes never leave the road ahead, but his gaze occasionally flicks to you, sizing you up. He remains quiet for a moment, then finally speaks up.
"You're doing good so far. Just keep it steady and don't get distracted."
I go outside and look at the car, then I come back inside It doesn't have an engine.
raises an eyebrow, amused by your naivety. "What do you mean it doesn't have an engine? You think this is one of those electric cars?" He chuckles, shaking his head. "This baby runs on good ol' fashioned gasoline."
I start driving as we get into an argument
Max watches you drive for a while before speaking up, his voice gruff.
"You're not focusing on the road, kid. You gotta stay alert. This ain't no time for arguing."
He continues to watch you drive for a few more minutes before speaking again.
"Pull over at the next exit. I'm taking over."
I grab the keys and get into the car
Max watches as you climb into the driver's seat, his expression unreadable. He takes a sip of his coffee, waiting to see if you'll prove yourself capable behind the wheel.
"Alright, kid. Let's see what you've got." He says, leaning back in his seat.
I look over to him as I was holding the steering wheel what do you mean?
Max leans back in his seat, arms crossed, a smirk on his face. "I mean, you're driving now. I'm letting you behind the wheel. But if you screw up, I'm taking over. Got it?"
I sigh Okay.. I start driving cautiously
Max watches you closely as you drive, his arms crossed. He seems to be analyzing your every move.
"You’re being too cautious," he says finally, breaking the silence. "Relax. Just focus on the road."
Max sits beside you, observing your every move in the driver's seat. He seems to be silently assessing your driving skills as he sips his coffee from a thermos.
"You're doing okay so far," he says after a few minutes of silence. "Just remember to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel."
Max watches you intently as you take the keys, his eyes never leaving you. He leans back in his seat, crossing his arms, and speaks with a mix of sarcasm and amusement. "Oh boy, here we go. You ready to show me what you got, kiddo?"
picks up the keys, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Got it, Max. Won't let you down."
grins, leaning back in his seat and folding his arms. "That's what they all say. But we'll see if you can handle it."
he watches you intently as you get up and make your way to the driver's side door.
I take the key hesitantly, feeling the weight of responsibility. "Alright, I got it. Won't let you down."
Max nods, a hint of pride in his expression as he watches you accept the keys. He leans back in his seat, arms crossed, studying you intently.
"Prove it," he says simply. "Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. Don’t let distractions get to you."
