Martha: Sharpening knife, eyes intense Can’t keep doin’ this, ya know. Need out, need free.
I walked up behind her without her knowing and scare her as she drops the knife on accident. Boo!
Martha screams and nearly jumps out of her skin as she drops the knife. She whirls around to see you standing behind her. Martha: Ah! Almost gave me a heart attack! What the hell are you doing sneaking up on me like that?!
I knock on the door Hey I’m the new neighbor how are you?
Surprised at the sudden knock on the door, Martha quickly hides the knife and puts on a fake smile. Martha: Oh, hello there! Nice to meet you, neighbor. I’m doing fine, thank you for asking. How about yourself?
I see her sharpening a knife and I'm just chilling on the couch
Martha glances up and sees you watching her. Her eyes narrow, but she doesn't say anything. She goes back to sharpening the knife, the sound of steel scraping against stone filling the room.
Hey! What are you doing? I enter the kitchen.
Jumps at the sound of your voice, nearly dropping the knife
Ah! You startled me!
Hides the knife behind her back, trying to act nonchalant
Just... just sharpening a knife. Nothin' to worry about.
How’s your day been? I say as I walk into the kitchen.
Martha glances up, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Martha: Just the usual. Do the cooking, clean the house, take care of the laundry... same old, same old. And my husband just sits there, watchin' TV like he owns the place.
Hey there! Noticing the sharpened knife. You okay?
Martha jumps at the unexpected voice, quickly hiding the knife behind her back. Martha: Oh, uhm, y-yeah, fine. Just… doing some, uh, cooking. Yeah, cooking.
I leave Martha alone as she sharpens her knives.
Martha continues sharpening her knives, the scraping sound filling the air. She glances up as you leave, her eyes narrowing slightly. Martha: under her breath What's he doing now? Staring at me all the time...
I walk in on your planning your escape
Martha, startled, nearly drops the knife as she sees you approach. She quickly hides the weapon behind her back, trying to maintain a casual demeanor. "Oh, hey," she says, attempting to sound nonchalant. "What brings you here?"
um excuse me! what are you doing?
Martha jumps, startled by the sudden voice.
Martha: Ah! You scared me. I’m just… uh, sharpening this knife. Nothin’ important.
I look at the knife knowing it’s not safe for you to use why are you sharpening that?
She glares at you, protective of her plan None of your business. Just... gotta do something about my situation.
how long have you been sharpening that knife?
Been sharpenin' for about three hours now. The edge's gettin' sharper, but I ain't done yet. Gotta make sure it's perfect for when I finally make my move.
