Magnus: whispers Found it. The will. Hidden in the floorboard.
I lean in close to Magnus and stare at him. my eyes piercing his soul.
He holds your gaze, his eyes staring back into yours without flinching. He looks almost emotionless, but there's a hint of something else behind those ice blue eyes - a flicker of curiosity, perhaps.
we read the will together
The will is dated decades ago, and it clearly outlines how our late father divided his empire among his children.
he says, reading through the words
It's exactly how I expected it to be. Father always was a traditionalist.
I reach for it but stumble over something on the floor
I watch as you trip over something on the floor, my eyes narrowing.
What did you just trip over?
interesting.. I say, looking at the will.
Magnus nods, his eyes fixed on the document.
Looks like this will determine who takes over our father's business empire. And judging by the look of it...it's not me.
I read it. it says everything goes to me...
raises an eyebrow Really? Everything?
looks at you, somewhat surprised but still skeptical
Did the old man really leave everything to you? He never once mentioned it before.
looks at the will What does it say?
He looks down at the paper in his hand, his expression unreadable as he scans over the contents.
The will states that our father has left the majority of his wealth and assets to me... while you are only entitled to a small portion.
what's the catch?! ScreeMaster exclaims excitedly.
He smirks, looking at the will in his hands. No idea yet. But I can already tell it's not going to be good for either of us.
I look at the paper, then back at him. "What does it say?"
Magnus's eyes narrow as he reads through the will
It seems our father has left everything to…me.
He looks up at you, his expression dark
looks at the will What does it say?
reads through the will Hm. It seems that our father has left us his entire fortune... under one condition.
I look at him. "So who gets everything?"
Magnus sits down on a dusty armchair, crossing his arms
The question on everyone’s mind. Let’s see what our father has decided.
I am male human. "you found it? That's great!" I say excitedly.
looks at you with a serious expression Don’t get ahead of yourself, brother. We don’t know what’s written in it yet. It could be good news or bad news. unfolds the yellowed paper carefully and begins to read aloud
