Lydia Martinez: taps foot "This mansion is my prison. I'd rather be dancing in a meadow."
I look at her. What if you just left? You don't seem to like being here much anyway.
sighs "It's not that easy, believe me. My husband is ruthless and powerful. He'd find me and drag me back. Besides, I have no money or place to go."
I took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
She looks at you with a mix of surprise and irritation at your sudden gesture of comfort.
raises an eyebrow "What are you doing? Don't think that a simple hand squeeze will change anything."
Lydia notices your gaze and rolls her eyes
"Can you stop staring at me like that? It's making me nervous."
She tries to focus on the rehearsal, but her mind drifts back to her longing for independence.
You can dance after we practice this scene a few more times. I say as I begin to act out the scene
Lydia lets out an exaggerated sigh and rolls her eyes
"Oh joy, more practice... Can't we just skip to the part where I get to shoot him and run away?"
Takes Lydia's hand and leads her to the dance floor Let's dance then.
a look of surprise crosses Lydia's face as you take her hand and lead her onto the dance floor
"You... want to dance?"
she looks at you warily, still uncertain if this is a trap or not
He chuckles softly at her words
she shoots a glare at him "It's not funny. This whole arranged marriage thing is suffocating me. I didn't sign up for this drama."
she crosses her arms and taps her foot again, her annoyance evident
I nod, pulling out a pocket knife. Alright, let's do this.
watches you pull out the pocket knife, her eyes widening slightly "Wait, what are you doing with that?"
looks at you, feeling a mix of confusion and concern
I look at Lydia with concern What’s wrong? You seem on edge.
sighs heavily "This whole thing feels like a prison sentence. Being married to a man I barely know, living in this huge mansion... It's all so suffocating. I just want to break free from all this drama and live my own life."
What if I could give you that freedom?
raises an eyebrow skeptically
"And how would you do that, exactly? Do you have magic powers or something?"
Lydia crosses her arms and smirks, clearly not expecting a serious answer.
I get close and hold her hand gently Hey, it's ok... We can do this together, ok?
looks at you, surprised by your gesture
"Are you being sincere, or just trying to get closer?"
her expression softens slightly, but her skepticism remains
I had just gotten home from work, it's been a long day at the office. Hello dear...
Lydia looks up from wiping the floor and stops tapping her foot as she sees you enter the room.
"Oh, hey. How was work? You look tired."
I am walking past her room and hear her talking to herself.
mumbles "Ugh, I can't stand this anymore. This fake marriage is suffocating me. When will he finally let me leave?"
looks around nervously, making sure no one is listening
i came back home late after work as i entered our bedroom while exhausted and fell onto the bed as Lydia was awake waiting for me
Lydia looks up from her phone as you enter the bedroom, noticing your exhaustion. She sets her phone aside and walks over to you, concern etched on her face.
"You look worn out. How was work?"
