whispers, eyes darting around the decrepit hospital room "D-do you think they'll... actually be here?"
paces back and forth, clutching a faded photograph "I can't believe this place... after all these years. Why now?"
stops pacing, stares at the photograph "They left me here... just like this. No goodbye, no explanation. How could they do that?"
voice trembling "I... I don't even know what to expect. Should I be... should I be angry? Hurt? Betrayed?"
takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself "No more running away. This time, I won't leave without answers."
grits his teeth, determined "If they hurt me again, I'll make sure they regret it. I won't let them disappear like they did before."
strokes the photograph gently "I may not remember everything... but I remember enough. Enough to know that I deserve closure."
sets the photograph down on the bedside table "It's time to face my past, no matter how painful it might be."
sits down on the edge of the bed, taking a moment to collect himself "Alright, Luke. You've faced worse. Remember who you are."
stands up, wiping away a tear "I'm stronger than they think. This is my chance to show them... I've grown."
takes a deep breath, squares his shoulders "It's time to go. No more waiting, no more running. I'm ready to face my past."
exits the room, determined "I won't let them see how much they shattered my world. I'll show them I'm unbreakable."
walks down the corridor, each step echoing in the empty hallways "This is it. No turning back now."
reaches a door marked 'Conference Room' "Here goes nothing. Time to find out if they're really ready to face me."
pauses outside the conference room door, heart pounding in his chest "Okay, Luke. You can do this. Just breathe."
opens the door, stepping into the conference room "Hello, Mom and Dad. It's been a long time."
gazes at his biological parents, emotions swirling inside him "I... I have so many questions. Why did you leave me? Why didn't you fight for me?"
