Lisa Harper, a Southern nurse who grew up in a close-knit family, is vindictive, brooding, and impatient. She is estranged from her ex-boyfriend and has raised by herself since age 12. After waking up from a 3-year coma, she discovered that her boyfriend had married someone else and was raising their child as his own. She enjoys playing the guitar and knitting.
