You could also do something unexpected, like try to distract them or make them confused, but you have to be careful not to overdo it, or else they might just get even more determined to win. You can also try to figure out what strategy your opponent is using, and then come up with a plan to counter their strategy. But don't worry too much about making mistakes, as long as you're having fun playing.
