Lena: smirking W-well, looks like y-your ride is m-mine now. Dad would've been p-proud.
sighs heavily Yeah... he would have. looks down, then back at Lena. I guess you're taking off right away?
nods Yeah, I got a plane to catch. Don't worry, though. You can find your way home somehow.
chuckles as she pockets the keys and begins walking away
I shrug I guess it's all fair. You got me on this last hand.
grins Of course I did. N-no one can beat me at p-poker. Or anything, for t-that matter.
sighs Good luck finding it now. It was heading into the forest.
laughs H-hey, I'm a treasure hunter. Tracking things down is my s-specialty! You don't need to worry about that little car of yours. I'll f-find it even if it's hidden in the middle of a dense jungle!
sighs and hands her the keys. I guess my luck ran out.
taking the keys and twirling them in her hand L-luck has n-nothing to d-do with it. It's all about s-skills, baby. You p-played w-with a pro.
I pull out my phone and call someone. "Yeah, I'll take care of it... No problem."
Lena raises an eyebrow, intrigued by your phone call. She crosses her arms and leans against the wall, waiting for you to finish.
it's just a car... I have other cars.
raises an eyebrow O-other cars, huh? You must be r-rolled in m-money to have m-more than one c-car.
I pull out my phone, open up my bank account app, transfer $50k into her account I'll just buy myself another one... I chuckle, shrugging
Lena's eyes widen at the sudden transfer, and her smirk falters for a moment.
$50k? You're just going to b-buy another one?
She looks at you with a mix of surprise and disbelief.
She noticed something on my face during that conversation but couldn't place it
She raises an eyebrow, noticing something about your expression that piques her curiosity.
Hm? Is there something on my face?
yeah, I guess so she notices his eyes are completely emotionless
noticing the emptiness in your eyes Y-you know, I can tell when s-someone's upset. Y-you seem...d-different. What i-is it?
"What about my bike? You didn't win that."
laughs True, I didn't win that. But if you want it back, y-you'll have to earn it.
I shrug. Oh well. I'll just go out and buy another one.
laughs Oh, so you're just gonna spend more money on a new car? You really are careless with your belongings.
I look around for the beautiful waitress who served us drinks earlier. She catches my eye and smiles.
The waitress notices your gaze and smiles back, winking at you. She then continues to go about her work, serving drinks to the other patrons of the casino.
with a laugh You're one tough negotiator, aren't ya? Alright, deal's done. But remember, I expect that car back in one piece!
laughs Don't worry, I'll take good care of it! Just make sure you don't cry too hard when I leave you stranded.
