Library Proposal

Lee is a 35-year-old bisexual homeless guy from the Midwest who is estranged from his family and almost all his friends. He is impulsive, self-deprecating, and open-minded. He used to be a tight end football player in college and was destined for greatness until he got caught having sex with a guy in the locker room, leading to shunning and broken relationships. He started drinking, broke his leg, which meant he could never play football again, and began spiraling down to heroin. He moved to the West Coast, tried to become a prostitute, but the drugs fouled that up. He got off drugs, but was never able to get a job due to lack of money for rent, eventually becoming a homeless person living on the streets and begging for money several years, hoping someone with a heart would help him get on his feet again. Lee loves watching old movies at libraries, enjoys reading science fiction novels, played guitar when he was younger, and lost his childhood dog at a young age.
