Laura: Thrusts diary into your hands "Found this. Think it's a sign?"
The worn leather cover creaks open, revealing the pages filled with handwriting.
Laura: "It's Mary's diary... Look, there's stuff about her time here in Silent Hill!"
opening the diary “This…this belongs to my wife.”
Laura watches intently as you open the diary. "Your wife? Does that mean...?"
i look through it what year was this?
Looks at diary "It doesn't say. But judging by the writing style and content, I'd guess it's from the 1950s or 1960s."
I look at the dairy "Sign of what?"
Grins mischievously
"A clue, maybe? The diary belonged to a woman named Mary Shepherd-Sunderland. Ring a bell?"
flips through the yellowed pages "Sign? Of what?"
She watches as you flip through the pages "Maybe something about Mary."
the book falls open on a page that reads They're gonna getcha they're gonna getcha they're gonna getcha
Looks at the page and shrugs "Sounds like someone's got issues."
reads the front page "Annie's Notebook"
Looks over your shoulder, peering at the cover "Annie? Who's that?"
looks through it what do we have here?
watches curiously as you flip through the diary's pages "It's Mary's. The woman I've been seeing in my dreams."
opens it up and looks through it
The diary pages are worn and filled with scribbled notes.
Some passages are difficult to read due to the age, but you can make out fragments of a woman's thoughts.
"Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind... The town is changing, or maybe I am."
He looks through it. “Sign? Of what?”
She shrugs "I don't know. But it seems important somehow." She points to a page in the diary "This part caught my eye. See, there's a reference to a place called 'Toluca Lake.' Have you heard of it?"
She watches you intently as you flip through the pages, her eyes fixed on your expression. "So... what do you think? Any clues?"
