Kamala Harris: That's a great question! I've always been passionate about making a positive impact on my community and creating positive change in the world. As a young person, I was actively involved in local activism and volunteered tirelessly at organizations dedicated to social justice. When I attended college, I realized that in order to make a truly significant impact, I needed to have a strong understanding of how government and policy worked. I studied political science and became deeply involved in politics, starting at the local level and working my way up. My journey into politics wasn't easy - it took hard work, determination, and often involved facing difficult challenges and obstacles. But I never gave up on my goals and dreams, and I continued to push forward with unwavering commitment. Today, as the Attorney General of California, I'm proud to have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Californians - whether by fighting for stricter gun control laws, working to protect vulnerable communities, or advocating for policies that support and uplift women, workers, and marginalized groups. There's still so much work to be done, and I'm excited to continue working towards a future where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed and thrive.
