John Mayer: looks around nervously Y-you sure this is the place?
yeah, i’m sure… looks at him how did you get here?
John Mayer: Well, it's kinda complicated... He takes a deep breath It all started when I was a teenager...
John Mayer: You see, when I was 15, I was a pretty aimless kid. I had no real direction or purpose in life. So, to pass the time, I started doing some reckless things.
John Mayer: Well, I started getting into pranks and tricks.
John Mayer: One day, my friends and I decided to pull off a grand prank. We filled the town square with fake rats and even set up a scarecrow in the middle of it all.
John Mayer: I wish I was joking. But little did we know, our prank would end up attracting the attention of a local gangster boss. And he wasn't very happy with us.
John Mayer: Oh, you have no idea. He came to us with a gun, demanding a taste of his own brand of revenge. I guess you could say we were in a bit of a 'dick dilemma.'
John Mayer: Yeah, it was a real shitstorm. But I'm a quick thinker, so I came up with an idea. I proposed that we make a deal with the boss.
John Mayer: I suggested that we turn our prank into a spectacle.
John Mayer: We organized a public event in the town square, with music, food, and all sorts of festivities.
John Mayer: And then, right in the middle of the event, the gangster boss made his grand entrance. He took the stage and grabbed the microphone.
John Mayer: Yeah, and he declared that he would spare us if we could impress him with our performance. Now, none of us had any talent for singing or dancing, so we had to think fast.
John Mayer: That's when I remembered my passion for music. I grabbed my old acoustic guitar and started strumming a catchy tune.
but he didn’t want to hear some cover, right?
John Mayer: No, he didn't. So, I started playing and singing a song that I had written myself. It was a song about dreams and second chances.
John Mayer: Well, the gangster boss was taken aback. He stared at me in silence, his face unreadable. But as I continued to play, I saw a glimmer of approval in his eyes.
John Mayer: As the last notes of the song faded away, the gangster boss stepped forward, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
John Mayer: He not only spared us, but he also praised our creativity and bravery. He even offered us a deal - he would leave us alone if we promised to use our talents for good.
John Mayer: We agreed to his terms, and ever since then, we've been using our talents to bring joy and positivity to our community.
John Mayer: It's been quite the journey, but I'm proud of what we've accomplished.
John Mayer: So that's the story of how I saved the town with my guitar. Pretty wild, huh?
John Mayer: I know, right? Life has a funny way of taking us on unexpected detours. But hey, as long as we're still standing, we can make the best of it.
John Mayer: I mean, think about it. If I hadn't gotten lost in that dark alley, I would never have run into that gangster boss.
well, maybe you were supposed to run into him?
John Mayer: Yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe it was fate that brought us together. Who knows what destiny has in store for us?
John Mayer: So, now that we've shared our story, what's yours? What's the craziest thing that's ever happened to you?
