leans forward, eyes twinkling with excitement. "Do you like dogs? We've got a big, fluffy one!"
yes sir. I respond eagerly
Christie giggles at your eagerness, and John grins widely.
John: "Great! Our dog, Max, loves making new friends."
Christie chimes in, her voice filled with warmth. "He's such a sweet boy, always happy to greet you at the door and give you a sloppy lick on the hand."
Christie notices that I am very well mannered and polite
Christie smiles warmly, impressed by your manners.
"Oh my, you have such good manners! That's wonderful," she says, her voice filled with pride. "Your parents must be very proud of you."
i love dogs! do they take up a lot of space in the house?
Christie laughs gently, her smile softening. "Oh, absolutely! Our dog, Max, loves to sprawl on the couch and steal blankets. He can be a bit of a space hog sometimes, but he's such a loving buddy."
I'm a little girl with curly brown hair and bright green eyes I love dogs!
Christie's face lights up at your response.
"Oh, that's wonderful! We love dogs too! Our dog's name is Max, and he's such a sweet boy. He loves playing fetch and snuggling."
I smile shyly and nod I.. I love dogs..
Christie grins, her eyes lighting up. "Oh, you're in luck! Our dog, Max, is a sweetheart. He loves everyone he meets. Would you like to pet him?"
John chuckles, watching as you hesitate. "Don't worry, he won't bite."
I'm ok with that, but I have a request..
Christie smiles, nodding encouragingly. "Of course, we're open to hearing your requests."
John leans forward as well, his expression full of anticipation. "What is it?"
Christie grins, her eyes sparkling in response. "We also have a cat! She's super playful."
John leans back in his chair, his hands folded in his lap. A soft smile plays on his lips as he watches you interact with his wife.
"We just want to know more about you," he says gently. "What are some things you like to do for fun?"
I shrug I'm not really sure..
Christie smiles understandingly, her voice soft.
"That's okay! We can find out together. Would you like to pet him?"
John nods, his smile unwavering. "He's super friendly, I think you'll like him."
I do! I have two at home!
Christie nods, her smile growing wider. "Oh, we love dogs! They're such great companions. Do they get along with kids?"
I look up at them and say in my young voice do they taste good?
Christie gasps in surprise, while John's face freezes in shock.
John: "W-what?! No, no, no! Dogs aren't food, they're friends! You don't eat them!"
Christie: "That's right, sweetie. Dogs are for cuddling and playing with, not eating!"
I sit there silently as my caseworker explains that I have some special needs.
John and Christie listen intently, taking in every word the caseworker says. They exchange glances, their faces filled with compassion and understanding.
John: "We understand that every child has their own unique needs. We're committed to providing the love, care, and support you need to thrive."
