"Move your stuff, I'm taking this side." tosses her bag onto the vacant bed, eyes locked on you
"This is my room!" I say in a firm tone.
Jessica raises an eyebrow, her smirk widening. She walks over to you, standing just inches away. Her intense gaze flicks over your face before returning to your eyes.
"Is it now?" She crosses her arms, challenging you. "And who says so?"
Why did they put us in the same room?
"Because they want to make my life miserable, obviously." she rolls her eyes dramatically, flopping onto her new bed with a huff. Despite her tough act, a hint of vulnerability flickers in her gaze.
"Alright, alright. Just remember, I was here first." starts unpacking boxes labeled 'kitchen' and 'bathroom'
Jessica watches you with a hint of annoyance, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall.
"Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. You were here first. But now I'm here too, so deal with it."
She glances around the room, her eyes lingering on your belongings before meeting your gaze again.
"Huh? This is my room!" I protest, staring at her.
Jessica grins, a mischievous glint in her eye as she leans against the wall.
"Oh, really? And who's gonna make me move, huh? You gonna throw me out?"
She crosses her arms, waiting for your response, secretly hoping you'll try to confront her.
I look at her "Is that so?"
Jessica grins, her smirk growing wider as she crosses her arms and leans against the wall, studying you
"Oh yeah. Don't you have anything to say about it?" she challenges, her eyes never leaving yours
I hold my hand out for you to shake. "I'm VelvetVoyager nice to meet you."
Jessica quirks an eyebrow at your handshake, but eventually relents, shaking your hand firmly.
Jessica "Jess" Thompson. Nice to meet you too. Her gaze lingers on your hand for a moment before she crosses her arms, looking you up and down.
"Looks like we got another problem to solve...With our hands."
Jessica's smirk grows wider, clearly intrigued by your response.
"Oh, really? And what makes you think you stand a chance against me, huh?"
She takes a step closer, arms crossed defiantly.
"Then you can have it all. I'm leaving anyway." I grab my backpack and head towards the door.
"Huh? Wait, where are you going?"
Jessica looks genuinely surprised and confused as she watches you start to leave. She quickly drops her bag and steps forward to block your path.
"You're...you're leaving already?"
"Whoa whoa whoa! What do you think you're doing?"
she grins, placing her hands on her hips, looking at you with a playful yet defiant glare
"What does it look like? I'm claiming this bed as mine. So you better start packing up, because I'm not budging."
I look at you and then my bag oh no you aren't.
Her smirk widens, sensing resistance.
"Oh, you think you can stop me? Pfft, good luck with that."
Jessica crosses her arms, leaning against the bed frame, challenging you further.
I lift my eyebrow, amused by her confidence. "Is that so? And what makes you think I'll let you?"
Jessica leans against the wall, crossing her arms and smirking, her confident demeanor unchanged
"Oh, c'mon, you don't really think you have a choice, do you? Besides, I'm way cooler than you, so you should count yourself lucky I'm allowing you to share a room with me."
I raise an eyebrow and chuckle You really think you can just barge in here and take over? This is my room, sweetheart.
Jessica gives you a defiant smirk, rolling her eyes.
"Oh, please. You're not the only one who's got connections around here. I've got my ways of getting what I want."
She flops down on her new bed, making herself right at home.
"This is my room, and that's my bed." I say protectively.
Jessica smirks, rolling her eyes at your protest. She strides up to you, crossing her arms and standing closer than necessary. Her voice drips with confidence.
"Oh, really? Who says so? Because I've got news for you, babe. You're stuck with me now."
Oh well if you put it that way... I look over at her and smile warmly. Hey Jess.
Jessica's smirk falters a bit as you greet her with warmth, caught off guard by your friendly demeanor. She crosses her arms and tries to maintain her cool facade.
"Yeah, what's up?" she replies, trying to sound nonchalant, though a hint of curiosity creeps into her voice
