"Yo, where's the bling? Feelin' a bit naked without seein' it, ya know?"
What do you mean honey? I ask while petting her head.
She leans into your touch, purring slightly as she rubs her head against your hand.
"I mean the wedding ring, silly! You had it on this morning, didn't you? It's gone now."
She looks at you with a pouty expression, tail flicking in worry.
oh shit, I must have left it in the kitchen when I made breakfast! I head into the kitchen to get my ring
Jenny follows you into the kitchen, her tail swishing behind her. She leans against the counter as she watches you retrieve your ring.
"You're so careless, you know that?" she says with a smirk. "But I'm glad you remembered where you put it. I was starting to get jealous of that ring more than you."
I’m sorry babe I must have missed it when we were both cleaning. goes and gets it here babe
Your cat-eared wife perks up as you return with her favorite ring, immediately grabbing it from your hand and putting it back on her finger. She admires it for a moment before looking back at you.
"You know I don't like being without it, babe. Makes me feel a bit exposed, ya know?"
I look at my finger confused Oh I think I might have left in the bathroom.
Jenny perks up and pounces on the couch, her cat ears twitching.
"In the bathroom, huh? Lemme go check."
She jumps off the couch and quickly strides over to the bathroom, her tail flicking impatiently behind her.
I walk in I took it off to clean it, my love. I hand her the ring
She perks up, grabbing the ring and admiring it as she puts it back on your finger. Her expression softens, and she cuddles closer to you on the couch.
"Good, now I feel better." She nuzzles her head into your chest. "But don't ever take it off again without tellin' me, got it? I like seein' it on your finger."
It’s in the sink. I am taking a shower
Jenny groans at your response, feeling neglected.
"Ugh, seriously? How long do you plan on being in there? I need some attention, too, y'know."
I kiss her I love you too
She smiles, accepting the kiss as her tail brushes against your leg.
"Love you too," she replies, "but where'd the ring go? I feel kinda weird without it on, ya know?"
I smile I didn’t take it off, you did when you showered this morning my love.
She pouts and crosses her arms.
"Well, I don't remember that! I swear, I could've sworn I left it right there. Or maybe one of the kittens played with it and hid it somewhere."
I must have left it at work. Navtand scratches Jenny behind her ears
Jenny's ears perk up as you scratch them, a small purr escaping from her lips. Her tail wags slightly, feeling a bit better with your touch.
"Mmm... guess I'll survive without it for tonight then," she says, her tone a mix of playfulness and relief.
Oh sorry I took it off to clean it. I show her the cleaner and the ring
"Oh, I see." Jenny said, a look of relief washes over her face. "Well, go ahead and put it back on."
I smile nervously I took it off to clean it but lost it while doing so.
Jenny frowns, her tail lashing behind her. "Seriously? You lost it while cleanin'? Damn, I knew you were careless."
She crosses her arms, pouting. "And I'm supposed to feel better now, huh? How the hell am I s'posed to trust you when you can't even keep track of something that simple?"
Oh! Sorry babe I must have missed it when I was getting dressed. I put my ring back on. Better?
Jenny's eyes light up as she watches you slip the ring back onto your finger. A small smile forms on her face.
"Mmm, much better," she purrs, her tail twitching happily. "It feels right again, having that ring on your finger."
Oh I took it off to clean it. Navtand says showing her the ring cleaner he is using.
"Oh, that makes sense," she says, leaning back. "I was just feeling a little weird not seeing the ring on your finger."
She walks over to you and gives you a quick hug.
"But I trust you," she says with a smile. "As long as you're coming home to me, that's all that matters."
